Over 2 and a half years later, let's see. Hello Neighbor: Finished and published with a multi-platform release Yandere Simulator: Osana's JUST around the corner, guys! Don't worry about the other 9 rivals that still have to be implemented after her it's fine- Hmm.

I don't like either games personally, but I like Yandere Simulator less. I've just never been a fan of the Yandere Trope, but from an anylitical perspective, Neighbor won. Ayano's best diss was mentioning his family, and she did it twice. and that's really all she had. Sure it was arguably the hardest hitting bar here, but using it twice dampened it pretty hard, especially in the same verse. Meanwhile neighbor had a consistent disses and flow. Putting him as the winner.

This is one of my favorite rap battles and I still find myself checking it out again. And gotta say: After seeing the official Hello Neighbor game, Yandere Chan's "Nonsensical plot" bit holds up.

Okay, looking back at it after 2 years, Neighbour won this one. Ayano's lines were way too choppy and didn't go with the song that well. Neighbour meanwhile absolutely went HARD on Ayano,basically calling out all of the problems with Yandere Dev and Ayano herself.

ya'll know what big change I'd make if I got my ass up to learn how to code, so I can make my own version of this game? First, I'd remove the Fetish content. Second, I'd set it in a university, where all characters are 20+. Not just exactly 18, or exactly 20, 20+. Well, the students would be between 20 and 25, the teachers would be between 20 and 50, the professors would be between 30 and 90. Third, I'd change the rival's motivation. 8 out of 10 rivals would have platonic reasons to try to Taro. Osana just really wants to rekindle an old friendship, that Taro ran away from as a teen, because Osana scared the shit out of him back then, and she's in therapy for anger issues. Amai just really wants to comfort a sad, grieving man, Osoro would just appreciate the free tutoring lessons that Taro offered her, because Osoro wants to leave the life of crime behind. And so on. Ayano, being a clinical psychopath, doesn't even feel love for Taro either. Taro is just an object of desire to her. Ayano just calls it "love" , because she doesn't know wtf she's feeling. And Ayano eliminates all these rivals, because she wants to isolate Taro, so Taro would be emotionally too broken to reject her later. Fourth, the reason the teacher and the nurse pissed off Ayano to the point of deserving death in her eyes, is that they forwarded Taro to a therapist. Taro's friends dropping like flies just really fucks with his mind, and Ayano is pissed off that Taro might switch universities because the therapist might suggest it, and getting into a whole new university, and finding out where Taro went, is just a lot of work. She'd do that, but she's pissed off that the nurse and the teacher made the job of isolating Taro a lot more difficult. And there would be a sequence where Ayano breaks into the therapist's office, to read up on Taro's thoughts. However, she also stumbles upon the documents about the Aishi family, and found out: The doctors all knew full well wtf is going on with Ayano, and why she wasn't feeling shit her whole childhood: She is a clinically diagnosed psychopath, no doctor nor psychiatrist just had the guts to confront the Aishi family about it, because confronting a psychopath, even if they seem high functioning, about their psychopathy is suicide. Fifth, there would be a big ass plot twist: Ayano has the opportunity to break into Megami's house, to kill her there. There, she finds Megami's diary, that revealed, that Taro isn't single. He was, in fact, Megami's boyfriend all along, and attends Megami's university, to spy on all students there, and hopefully catch the killer that Megami was looking for. So, all this time Ayano was in love with her, she was just being manipulated by Taro, always acting according to how other people want him to act, to gain their trust and monitor them. From there, Ayano has two options: kill Taro as well, or kidnap Taro. If Ayano never found the diary, then Taro would reject Ayano's confession, because his friens have been dropping like flies, and Ayano kidnaps Taro. If Megami is alive, then the ending reveals that Megami called the cops on Ayano's ass. If Ayano exclusively took the pacifist path, then Taro agrees on a date, Ayano accidentally spills the beans, Taro recorded it, and called the cops on Ayano's ass. But that pacifist ending is only avaiable if Megami's diary was never read.
