You’re watching this video from your school or local library because I have the joy of visiting soon! I'm Angela Henderson Smith, an author, speaker, and writing coach based in Dallas, Texas. With a passion for storytelling and education, I’ve had the privilege of writing three traditionally published picture books. My debut book, Isaac's Ice Cream Tree, holds a special place in my heart as the first step in my journey to inspire young readers.
After teaching English Language Arts and coaching writing teams for 13 years, I’m now a full-time authorpreneur. This means I get to dedicate my time to school and library visits, focusing my energy on connecting with kids across America and beyond!
The students, teachers, and I are going to have an incredible time together as I read and write with the kids, tailoring activities to their grade levels. My goal is for your child to connect with an author and develop a deeper interest in reading and the creative writing process! Please take a moment to ask your kids about their experience.
