REALLY excited to finally get this, 9 months later! Not only is the cabinet exceptionally rare, this is a piece straight out of the Kawasaki Warehouse arcade that closed down last year! I am extremely honored to be able to acquire a piece of this historic arcade.
As far as I know, this is only the 2nd HELLO! Pop'n Music in NA. There was a US location test of the game that bombed badly; it was a ticket redemption game with fewer/shorter tracks, single difficulty, and no eAmuse. That is either destroyed or rotting in a warehouse now.
The game itself is a much simplified Pop'n Music with 4 buttons arrayed horizontally. There are "long" notes which need to be tapped multiple times, and charged notes that I think have to be hit at least 2-3 of the 4? These would generate a ticket bonus in the US version of the game. Nothing is hard enough for a seasoned player to do, can easily full combo every chart.
