That "Awaiting feedback....no response....shutting down" perfectly describes the lonely feeling this song gives off and I love it

This gives me the same feeling as still alive from portal. Just the calmness, but probably deeper meaning about technology is absolutely amazing.

A part of the animation that I really liked with this animation is that in the countdown sequence, it hesitates at 2, which could possibly mean that there may be more behind the scenes than what we are seeing, possibly sentience?

"A computer cant make you cry" the computer:

i love the contrast of the upbeat lighthearted song with the shots of the outside of the bunker resting forgotten in the middle of a bleached desolate nowhere

My theory: This story takes place in the future. Humans moved to a new planet after drying the world from it's resources. The air supposedly became unbreathable, so they have built silos like Ironhood for work, relaxation, and a place to stay, and robots to aid them in living there while they tried to find planets that could support them. After humans found a compatible planet to leave to, they were told to keep everything in their place, leaving everything behind. The red button at the end could be a rocket starting button, to launch to the new planet. The facility has been running ever since, as this computer's voice echoes through the halls forever.

This is SO well done, I love these backgrounds. They're so full of life despite having nothing living, and react to light super well. It's such a different interpretation than everyone else gives the song, and it's just as great. I hope more people get to see this. It's fantastic.

Fun fact most programmers when they are new to coding or want to learn a new language they get the computer to say “Hello world!” And some A.I. honor this tradition when they first get implemented.

Anyone else notice the gun outside the bunker at 2:08? My theory is humans made themselves extinct during ww3, and the last humans survived for a little while in that bunker, but died after exausting their supplies. Does anyone agree?

I still remember when I wrote my own first "Hello World" in LibertyBASIC back in 2010 or so. I got it, eventually, to print the lyrics of 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall. IDK why I quit coding, but in 2019 I'd choose to pivot to computer science (now IT). Writing in C, learning C... it felt like I was learning about a part of myself I had long forgotten... I have an OG copy of the second edition of the Kernighan and Ritchie book on the C Programming Language. I often flip to the page, where they first introduce 'hello, world!' and think about how there has been no two words more influential on society than it.

Good animation, you need more visits.

My theory is that this is an abandoned shed but this computer is still alive, meaning, the batteries aren't dead yet. So the computer has enough energy to try and communicate. It probably turned on by a few bugs crawling inside it activating something. The computer was programmed to say this probably for testing reasons. But then at the end it says "Awaiting feedback.." but since it is an abandoned shed/room, nobody will care and the computer gets no response. So it says "No response." And it powers off. I think that the battery most likely died after wasting that energy, and because it's a very old computer.
