hello there....aren't you supposed to be curb stomping aizen again mate? Jokes aside i agree. You should also check Drifters. Apologies for a very long reply that may bore you but if you liked hellsing you should really read what i have to say and give this thing a try. It is an anime made by the same guy that wrote and drew hellsing. Don't worry. I did not dive into explanations and did not spoil any plots. It has one season of adaptation or a little more than that but the manga is bloody brilliant. It is an action heavy manga with comedic moments, made exactly by the same author as Hellsing Ultimate. Basically a bunch of personalities that had had questionable circumstances of death or went down in infamy for their action are actually alive and brough to a foreign land that does not resemble their world at all and they need to combat a threat. Oh...and all of these are brought are former humans(in some instances...cause they got some freaky alucard like powers) or normal humans from differen eras. And i literally mean different eras: you'll have feudal era samurai, end of post samurai era warriors, post medieval revolutions, wild west gunslingers, WW2 era fighters , etc. It is still ongoing and per the author's style you never know when a chapter will be released 100% . You got 81 chapters worth of content. I also added the my anime list description at the end: At the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600, Toyohisa Shimazu is the rearguard for his retreating troops, and is critically wounded when he suddenly finds himself in a modern, gleaming white hallway. Faced with only a stoic man named Murasaki and hundreds of doors on both sides, Toyohisa is pulled into the nearest door and into a world completely unlike his own. The strange land is populated by all manner of fantastical creatures, as well as warriors from different eras of Toyohisa's world who were thought to be dead. Quickly befriending the infamous warlord Nobunaga Oda and the ancient archer Yoichi Suketaka Nasu, Toyohisa learns of the political unrest tearing through the continent. Furthermore, they have been summoned as "Drifters" to fight against the "Ends," people who are responsible for the creation of the Orte Empire and are trying to annihilate the Drifters. As the Ends grow more powerful, so does the Empire's persecution of elves and other demihumans. It is up to Toyohisa and his group of unconventional heroes to battle in a brand-new world war to help the Empire's subjects, while protecting the land to claim for themselves and challenging the Ends.

ohh i also forgot to add that it contains mentions of real life events and battles so it is a great action oriented anime and manga that gets your blood pumping as well as hellsing does and it also gives you a small easy to follow history lesson about the battle and it's outcome which can in turn motivate you to learn more about the specific era and the battles if you like history

Well actually it was like 1-2 episodes a year, so it ended on 2012. Also it was produced by 3 different studios, the last ones by Graphinica, which has this spectacular animation.
