Mikey let me explain on how tech work in the hell of a boss universe, blitzø and his employee they can die and they will be deadBecause they’re Hellborn, and also Luna are Hellborn, Hellborn are born are demons who are born in heck and can die permanently, sinners are the ones that are from earth and if you kill them they will respawn, But if you kill a sinner with a holy weapon they’re gone for permanently, I just wanted to make that clear so you don’t get confused later.
8:33 The core cast of Helluva are not dead, they are demons born in hell so they age and can die. Human sinners are "immortal" until angels come to cleanse them once a year as Hazbin Hotel explained.
I honestly didn’t even notice when I watched this episode the first time that they had new voice actors. I didn’t notice until someone told me about it and then I felt stupid for not noticing😂
NOTES in chronological order sincere I’m lazy to put in time stamps: > The imps are Hellborn Demons, not Sinner Demons. Loona, the Hellhound, is also a Hellborn Demon. > In Blitzo’s office on the background on the left, you'll see circus tickets, this provides an insight that Blitzo was once a circus performer in his life > That's a different dude that having sex with her > Blitzo has an apparent fear of ghosts when clicking for an emergency > You see that jester drawing on the left right there. That comes into play later in the episodes > Millie's voice had been changed, it became more southern than in the pilot episode > Listen to what Millie is saying, the “Humans are filled with secret nasties”, this further proves that imps are not from Earth then get sent to Hell > The Circles of Hell are categorized by the 7 Deadly Sins. Pride, Wrath, Gluttony, Greed, Lust, Envy, Sloth. Each has its own cities and its own form of Hellborn Demons, as well as its own rulers. > Sinner Demons, when they die, they take the form of what they are, who they are, and how they are killed. More of that would be explained later > That's a child's head in the background in the family cottage and on the left is a picture frame made of bones, first watch you're really not gonna notice this > Left side, a spine lamp, right side, another bone picture frame > A small frame before Martha moves, in the fridge at the back, there's a dead hand there > Did you know that when imps get injured, a white spot forms on their body indicating that that part became injured at some point. "But what about Moxxie and his white freckles?" There are some speculations that say that a designed or artificial design of white parts on the body of an imp is self-inflicted, for flair, like tattoos. While a more natural white mark would indicate a genuine injury. > Did you know that Stolas is demon royalty. They are known as the Ars Goetia. Stolas is a demon prince. In the "Lesser Key of Solomon" Stolas is known for his knowledge of astrology and herbs and plants > On what blitz said when being burned by Martha, Hellborn demons are very much mortal but are long-lived. Stronger Hellborn Demons wouldn't be easily killed by conventional firearms, but the weaker ones, yeah they can die it seems > Blitzo is confirmed to be Bi, if I remember correctly > BOY! Get ready to get your shit rocked at episode 2. > Might have missed a couple of stuff again, but this is just the first episode.
If you pay attention to the background inside the family's home before Blitzo takes the shot you can already tell that there's something wrong about them, they have a lamp made from a spine and skin in the corner and the head of some kid mounted on the wall
The teacher Ms. Mayberry. For her to be voiced by former Matilda star Mara Wilson. Her character always saw a teacher as kind and caring, yet here she now plays a teacher herself, but becomes the total opposite of one.
I love this show, and I love seeing people react to it. Moxie and Millie have such a pure relationship it perfectly contrasts with the setting. The animation is stylized and fun with out looking cheap. It's the best kind of independent animation. I recommend sticking with the series and be ready feel emotional attachment to the characters. Also go back a look for background gag, they are plentiful. Also rewatch Hasbin and you can find the early designs of Blitz and Loona
Fun reactions! It is safe to say you are not at all prepared for episode 2, so this should be entertaining. I don't honestly know what would happen to the imps if they got "killed" on Earth. At the very least it'd have to hurt a lot.
I think they'd just die. Only the Sinners are already dead, the rest are hellborn demons, which I'm pretty sure means they're alive and can be killed. (We know for sure from later episodes; no spoilers.) And I think only humans have an afterlife in heaven or hell, so when hellborn demons die, they just disappear.
#MikeyVenture Fun Facts Ms. Mayberry is voiced by Mara Wilson, who many of us recognize from movies like Matilda and the Miracle on 34th Street remake. Meanwhile, Martha is voiced by Jinxx Monsoon; who is known for being a famous drag queen
Happy you're enjoying this so far! It's thanks to reaction channels like this that post the entire episode that I have watched every episode of this show quite a few times ☺️
Overall Helluva Boss is a really fun show, but I think you gotta see till at least episode 2 or 3 to see what the show is really like. The pilot and episode one while yes connect and fit into the overall story feel more like "shock value" I honestly prefer all the episodes after, not that its a night and day difference but you'll see.
Go back to the dining room and look at the walls on the far back wall. You’re gonna notice something really really sick. If you think about it, there’s a kid’s head mounted on the wall.
One thing about worldbuilding: demons and sinners are two different categories. Demons (like our imps hellhound) are alive; they were born in hell. Sinners are humans who died and were sent in hell.
Demons aren't dead, and imps are a weak enough demon that they can die pretty easily. I think they're only invulnerable to human fire, everything else can kill them
5:25. Did anyone else notice that look Loona had while looking at the picture? I might be reading too much into it, but we know she was adopted by Blitz. So maybe she’s lamenting on the family she never had. Maybe she is, maybe she isn’t but that’s just my opinion.
This episode was my first impression of it. I didn't see the pilot. 🤣 My brother only told me it's about demons killing people as a job. I didn't expect it to go this hard on the R rating. It's close to X rating.
In terms of this shows animation and premise I think its pretty solid, but where the shows looses me is with its jokes. I don't mind a bit of crude humour, but when it's those kinds of jokes every 30 seconds it really starts to grate on me.
The comment about bullying Australian kids online is because Australia was suffering a wildfire and drought at the same time when this episode was released.
I forgot that this show is good from the start. Hah, Moxxie is the best. Still never learned if i’m spelling his name right. Great video and you’re right i don’t think the family deserved a lawful prosecution. It’s april 25th this is part 2/?
Not all demons are dead. In fact, only Sinners are; the rest are born in hell and are very much alive. So, yes, they can die. (And technically, even Sinners can be "erased" by angelic weapons, as you saw in Hazbin during the Extermination.)
Not all beings in hell are dead, the sinners are dead humans and I think they're basically immortal unless killed by angelic weapons The imps, loona, and stolas as all hellounds, imps, and ars Goetia are were all born in hell; they have long lives but aren't immortal - although higher ranking demons like Stolas would be hard to kill
why did they do that? Because they were known monsters at that point by description... best way to deal with that kind... unlike the real world version of what would happen (life in jail?)
@ MikeyVenture I'm just going to say it, I truly hate this episode. I am not a fan of horrors and this family is just annoying. Also, I think it's out of character for Moxie to literally be attracted to Millie and have a dislike in murdering anyone, even if it is a family. Loo Loo Land is a much better introduction in my opinion. I'll only ever watch this episode if it means I get to see reactions like yours or I'm binging the entire show.
@@roo1014 Not the attraction to Millie. I'm saying that his dislike for murdering a family is out of character when his wife is literally a serial killer.
@@the_UF365 You're not wrong. Though I do believe the show tries to showcase that Millie cares far more about killing and being a tough brute than Moxxie does, I don't think Moxxie dislikes killing by any means, but I do believe that if he didn't need to kill or if Millie wouldn't be working with him, he'd choose something else
@@the_UF365 To be fair, the almost-murder of that kid in the pilot was an accident and the real murder was only after the kid had firmly established himself as a piece of shit. He definitely doesn’t have a problem with killing, but perhaps things that are supposed to be wholesome are a bit harder for him. Doesn’t make it less weird to make him an assassin with moral hangups, I’ll grant that, but a lot of people still love him so someone has to defend him, even though I’m more of a Blitzo fan.
I’m gonna be honest, this is probably the worst written episode of the entire series. I wouldn’t call it bad by any means but it has some really awkward dialogue at points. I think the pilot had less awkward dialogue
@@MasonJWMyers I didn’t even say anything remotely spoiler related. All I said is that this episode has a really awkward dialogue. And yes the show is really good but it doesn’t get good until episode 2 imo. Also this isn’t my least favorite episode. My least favorite is episode 4
