I think RU-vid kinda gave up on trying to block this series. While the guidelines are a little bit more strict this year I don’t think it will be a problem. But if it is I’m sure Vivziepop will make a community post about it if it does become an issue. Also not to mention she does put a warning sign at the beginning of every episode for a fair few seconds.

Yeah I’m not sure what it’s going on with RU-vid or what Ruff is going on about. But Helluva boss hasn’t had a problem in RU-vid probably due to the high views. Also the series is founded through the merchandise, Patreon and other stuff. Not just Houtube Add revenue.

@@kay-jay1581 RU-vid just changed their restrictions by cracking down on swearing, sexual content, violence, and copyright. The one he's worried about is whether the show is still gonna be allowed because of how much they curse and kill in the show.

This show puts a 18+ warning in the beginning, so this show is able to get revenue from ads without having to worry about being demonitized. Though the profit made is very little. Patreon & Merch is where they afford to make this show

Last I knew the Hazbin series has only been teased for "Summer" of this year, so it could be as late as July or August. As of this comment Viv has already announced the completion of the first season, but we're still waiting for an announcement on when it releases and on what platform(s). We're even still waiting on an official full cast list.

In the pilot both Stolas and Millie have different voice actors. Millie is actually voiced by Loona, fun little fact. Stolas is voiced by Brock Baker. In the series proper he's voiced by Bryce Pinkham.

I'm glad that I watched episode 1 right after the pilot because the pilot itself to me, while having some funny moments, is structured kind of messily. There are flashbacks within flashbacks and it was a little disorienting to watch. Episode 1 is SO much cleaner and made me want to really stick with the series

Well, a pilot episode is pretty much just meant to be a pitch to a producer/studio. A lot of the pilots I've worked on have the same kind of weird structure; they're usually not intended as an actual episode, but rather a means of establishing the settings, the characters and their dynamics, the tone, and a little bit of plot to kick it off. The pilots of most shows never even really get seen by audiences, unless there's some kind of special release.

On the topic you brought up of making money and whatnot, they do sporadic (almost seasonal) limited merch drops of shirts, playmats and more. All of which tend to sell out like hotcakes

I'm pretty sure most of the funding for Helluva Boss is actually from the fans buying merch and patreon. The audience pretty much pays the workers through being fans of the show, so they might be okay in spite of youtube fuckery. Also, there is in fact a fully animated music video for the "Oh Millie" song on the channel, along with a Hazbin Hotel animated music video :)

I think they fund this series with merch sales and Patreon donations and that's how they get around the RU-vid monetization issues, so it probably doesn't even matter whether the RU-vid TOS guidelines likes their adult content or not.

Idk if anyone has mentioned this, I didn't see any comments about it but Viv has said that the pilot isn't Canon anymore. (So Luna doesn't have Syphilis lol) It is still really fun though.

I'll be honest here. I feel like you guys aren't giving this show the same kind of care and attention that you gave shows like gravity falls and owl house and its really unfortunately. Yes its a silly crass show with rude humour but its also story driven and mega detailed (look at the posters and photos on the walls etc.) filled with tons of lore (the class system and the different rings etc.) and its unfortunate that you are missing all of this gold (and a lot of the plot and massaging). Maybe a rewatch would make sense idk.

It was a recent ad suitability change. Basically RU-vid is bending over to advertisers who want “advertiser friendly content” it’s become horribly out of control the past month We had to completely black out every moment with a gun in this past last of us reaction just to get it up. Took us like 4-5 re-edits before they’d let us monetize it

Stolas did change voice actor. Brock Baker got accused of some pretty iffy stuff, so him and the creator agreed he should step down so as to not damage the project by association while that was all going down. Stolas is currently voiced by Bryce Pinkham.

In the pilot, Millie had a white spot in her hair, but it was changed to pure black once the sexual dimorphism in Imps was finalized. Females have black hair and black horns with thin white stripes, while males have white hair and equally sized black and white stripes on their horns.

Watching this as of hazbin hotel releasing, the amount of references there are is insane, you can see a billboard for 666news with the same host as in hazbin hotel, and you can see Luna on the computer watching the news which happens to be Charlie doing her advertisement for the hotel This is why I love these shows😂
