Blitz says "the babysitter will kill me if I'm late" but we know that he didn't adopt Loona until she was 17. It's absolutely killing me to imagine him hiring a babysitter for a seventeen-year-old. Specially..for Loona.. ! A small detail, but the mental image is priceless....

Millie really showed that she was born and raised in the Ring of Wrath cuz she absolutely slaughtered them and made the best exit out of crashing a wedding lol

Crim is more of a monster on the inside than on the outside! More importantly though, Millie is a unit of badassery. And this isn't even the first time she's proven it either.

If it wasn't clear during the boat scene during Moxxie's flashbacks, that shoe floating int he water was showing that Moxxie's mother was already drowned in that same fashion as the demon that was forced until with the cement block since she loved Moxxie more than his father.

That line Moxxie says in episode one, "'Maybe like a crappy dad...' (I had to change the s-word or RU-vid wouldn't let this comment be visible.) 'or a mob family. That's understandable." definitely hits a lot differently now. I love that we got to learn about Moxxie's past, but damn, his backstory really broke my heart. Crimson is without a doubt the most despicable character in the show's universe, yes, even worse than Valentino from Hazbin Hotel's "Addict" music video. Chaz really sucks too. I'm so happy Moxxie has Millie by his side because he deserves so much better than what he had for most of his life.

Can we just appreciate the little detail that Moxxie's dad called Chaz a "friendless horse f*cker" and later in the episode Chaz and Blitzo hook up... Blitzo being the guy with a thing for horses...

It’s really surprising that after all we’ve seen Millie do, that she was beaten pretty easily by the husband of the murder family in the first episode

I never expected this aspect of Moxxie's life to be shown, i mean his comment in the pilot on dreaming on his parent's being murdered made me think he had bad parents he was glad they were dead or he had good parent's who were killed...turns out it was half and half, a good mom who was killed by his psycho dad, makes me feel for the dude and how lucky he is to have Millie in his life and to a certain extent Blitz as well.

You got to love the consistency of having Millie with bucked-toothed fangs! It just adds so much to her country flavor!

What confused me is how back in season 1 where Moxxie said he's from wrath. Did he move to greed when he was young? Is his mom from wrath and did she move to greed? I crave answers. D:

I thought in the MIB episode (Truth Seekers) Millie let off even harder than in this one. As a pansexual, I can REALLY sympathize with the WTF moment of Moxxie's dad saying "Like I said, gay" when Moxxie corrected him that he's bisexual. Another pet peevee is people saying you're straight when you date someone of the opposite gender and you being bisexual was just a phase, or a fad, or something. I also found it extremely fascinating how Moxxie's mom was essentially voiceless and almost entirely faceless. It reeked of repressed memories and trauma, which makes me think we're going to see somekind of continuation to this backstory later. On the other hand I am quite disappointed we still didn't get any continuation to the season 1 finale. They're really letting the conflict between Stolas and Blitz hang. I need a resolution to it at some point!! I hope we get something at this sesason's finale at least.

This episode was a worth waiting moment to see Millie pulling out a Mortal Kombat mix GOT “Red Wedding” montage that is so amazing and make you breathless 💀 Also I have to give a guess that we don’t have to wait that long for the 4th episode and more Episodes to come as I believe we might be facing it in a fast paced since Hazbin Hotel is going to be coming this summer and Viziepop is getting ready for the opening premiere of it. So next episode might be big to have Stolas, Stella, Striker, and Stolas’s Brother in law coming to play as it’s going to be like Harvest Moon Festival episode but more depth in Wrath ring of Hell.

I'm guessing that either Moxxie's mother was from Wrath, given that her dress seemed a little bit country, or both parents are and they moved to Greed when he was just a baby. I say that because he and Blitzo both mention that Moxxie and Millie are both from Wrath in the episode where they visit her folks and we meet Striker.

That could have been some random demon or his uncle, Crimson probably killed moxxie's mom while he wasn't their to witness it.

I used to watch Cartoon Network back when I was a kid. One of the shows on there was called The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. The voice actor who plays Moxxie in this is the voice actor of Billy. It is so weird hearing Billy's voice in this episode sounding like Michael Corleone from The Godfather trilogy.

Wedding, an awesome song, and brutal killing. Very much reminding of Kill Bill. Probably inspired by?

On one note, I wander if the Imps and other hellborn demons are different from each other based on what ring of Hell they originate. Millie is from Wrath where physical strength is a focus and Greed looks to be usually smaller Imps with a focus on organized crime and a lot of that "muscle" were shark demons, which seemed kind of weak too (maybe lack of clean water, as the fish type demons supposedly all originate from the Envy ring and Greed looked awfully polluted. But it is clear Crimson was not expecting Millie to be so tough, he clearly didn't then research where they all came from.

It may have been 3 or 4 months since the last episode came out, but with the announced promise of 4 more episodes (starting with this one) coming out "spring to summer" of this year, the wait between the next three episodes shouldn't be as much of a wait, 1-2 months between them!

This whole Episode just shows what a poor Mafioso Crimson is, he didn't do his due diligence to make sure that Chazz was what he said he was. He could have saved a lot of anger and goons by just looking into Chazz and realizing he was full of shit.

So, I went to LVLUpExpo in Vegas a few weeks ago and got to meet Vivziepop and the cast of Helluva Boss. I went to their panel where they showed an extended teaser trailer for the rest of Season 2 and the ending of the teaser said "Coming Spring to Summer". So we have a decent timeframe for the rest of the season.

I hope they actually give Millie more depth as a character, as she's been fairly flat so far. Still an enjoyable episode, and her rampage is goretastic

Crimson is coming back for revenge because Moxxie defied him. I think the only way for Moxxie to really put his past behind him and for Crimson to leave Moxxie alone for good is for Moxxie to beat Crimson in a fight. In the future episode, Moxxie will have to face Crimson in a shoot out. During the fight, Crimson will see how good Moxxie is and not wanting to lose to his son. Crimson starts to fear Moxxie. He will cheat and taunt him for being weak and also mention how Crimson enjoy killing his mother. This will throw Moxxie off for a bit until he gets help from Mille, IMP and/or he remembers what his mother taught him. If his mother shows up in flashback and gives him the encouragement and a lesson that Moxxie holds dear, Moxxie can overcome it and finally beat his dad. Moxxie defies his father and disowns his father. Crimson lost control for good. If Moxxie kills him or not, Crimson loses. The only way Moxxie will kill Crimson if it's self defense. By defeating his father, he will finally put his past behind him. During the episode, Crimson should have check to see if Chaz was rich before going through the insane plan. It showed that Crimson's greed made him stupid.

with Krimson's introductory episode, we have now seen the worst dad ever in Helluva Boss. i hope he comes back to start some shit and Moxxie fills him full of holes like only a mob boss deserves.

Storywise... My theory is.. Crimosn has some kind of a Deal with Mammon (One of the 7. Deadly Sins. Embodiment of Greed) as revenge for the destroyed LooLoo-Land in S1-EP2. Fizzarolli might also have something to say about it, not to mention Asmodeus, whose reputation might be destroyed since the incident at the Ozzies in the Lustring. I.M.P. has made powerful enemies... not to mention the Cherubs and D.H.O.R.K.S., and at some point only the Hazbin's may be able to safe them. Charlie and her hotel...(leads to the big fights..and the ending in Season 3)

My first impression for this episode, was not as good, because i miss the good jokes from Season 1. The animation get's better and better and the personal characters are developing.. but something is missing.. Maybe it is the "signature" that comes through more and more.. "Shitty parents and issues". I have this too..but i don't like to see it that much in, one of the best animated dark-humor series in many years.. But thanks to you two, it's worth a re-watch. Congrats to 50k subs as well

One of the funniest things to me is this Mob Boss is an imp (one of the lowest ranked species in Hell), and likely has no real power outside of "NotMafia city" in the Greed Ring, and the only reason Greed's demon lord Mammon even tolerates it is because it embodies greed. But to any of the princes, the royals, heck even the Sinner Overlords this whole mafia would be a joke, like seeing a gang of pickpockets terrorizing the other peasants and claiming to be big shots, when they the evil overlords could crush them in a matter of minutes if not seconds on a whim.

I got a theory that Helluva Boss will eventually tie into Hazbin Hotel. If Charlie is trying to put the hotel together to reform demons and hopefully get them into Heaven I think quite a few of the characters from Helluva Boss are the closest to reformation and redemption. Moxxie and Millie arent exactly terrible people, I could see them being "redeemed" so to speak.
