Providing the pilot isn't much before this episode's timeline, Blitzo says he adopted her a year ago, so if she was late 17, she's be almost 19 now, or actually 19.

I think the “messaging” in the episodes aren’t so much trying to pretend to bea kid show or combination of both (adult or kid). It’s just trying to be what it is. It is its own show. What I like about this show is it is not like many “stereotypical adult cartoons” that is just crude humor with no story. So many ppl think adult cartoons can get away with edgy and ugly designs with horrible jokes but because it’s adult it’s okay. The messaging isn’t for kids, it’s to create actual substance that happens to be for adults.

I assume loona just want companionship. Do wonder if next or after episode for helluva boss they get octavia and her to hang out considering the creator herself showed art just chilling. I could see an ep stolas wants blitzo for “help” on something and leave his daughter for the others to watch. Octavia and loona bond like sisters in it and establish the friendship they have.

The trailer for this season that released a couples months back showed we’ll see more of Verosika, meaning we’ll likely hear more of Christina’s beautiful voice down the line! Makes sense, since her and the succubi have their office right across the hall from the IMP crew.

So yeah, as others have pointed out,the crew were born in hell. I'm only about 4 minutes in,but I'm gonna guess y'all were confused as to how verosika and her friends got to earth. As succubi,it's kind of their job to seduce mortals ,while imps don't have a specific job to do. So the crew got a back door entry to earth,and made their own job

I think it´s supposed to to be just that, random. It´s inspired by the Office appearently, and my guess is, that it doubles as a way to introduce all matter of characters in this Universe they´re building here, together with Hazbin Hotel, and allows to see more characters around Hazbin, but also partly cameo off each other. For example in that line for Blitzos flyer, there was that demon from the opening scene in Hazbin with Angel Dust. And Blitzo was among the demons in the News studio when Charlie talked about the Hotel, staring at her ass^^ I´m pretty sure Luna was also there. So i think we´re gonna have some interactions in the background with these two Shows, maybe even in their main plots, who knows.
