Richard Horvitz. He's the voice of Invader Zim. Also voices Billy and his dad in Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and was the first Alpha 5 voice in MMPR.
Fun fact: They did their research. They use Stolas’ actual sigil from the Ars Goetia in this episode (in the summoning circle), it wasn’t made up for the show.
God damn, that musical score and the transition from Moxxie to Blitz was top notch, especially with that guitar. I also liked the reasoning why they never had use firearms, probably blessed with Holy Water, of Rule of Cool, even though it was dumb. Probably explains the DHORKS well. And for Stolas, he definitely knows about groups like DHORKS weren't really taken seriously, considering his liking for the word Cuckoo.
Richard Horvitz has been Zim from Invader Zim, Daggit from The Angry Beavers, and Billy from Billy & Mandy. Those're the only ones I remember off-hand. (Also yeah, Chalkzone's theme is pretty catchy)
12:44-12:56: Chalkzone reference, from an early 2000s nickelodeon cartoon featuring a boy and a magic chalk that anything drawn with it becomes semi-reality.
The continuity in this series is that each episode is a different mission and they're teleporting from hell so they aren't travelling by land so the beach episode was a different part of the world than this episode.
@@undertakernumberone1 That does make sense as a whole with the visuals. That Moxxie monologue in Blitz trip gave me a full on Metallica war pigs vibe though.
Moxi is the voice of Dag(angry beavers), Billy(Grim Adventures of Billy&Mandy), Zim(Invader Zim), The Martian(Destroy all Humans1&2 Game). The guy that plays this character is Richard Horvitz.
for me the song was the best part followed by Stolas. The big fight scene for me was actually my least favourite part. It felt like it was going on like twice as long as it should've gone. There was no tension in it nor was the slaughter a pay off to anything. Millie and Loona were already butchering their way in so it wasn't like "finally a fighting chance" or anything. Maybe had it been Blitzo Millie and Moxxie holding off the agents while Loona was trying to work the spell or something. It's beautifully animated but for me it kinda felt less like a climatic fight... and more like "random action scene to kill some time" in a Fast and the Furious or whatever movie. Maybe it's also because of the scene's length, stretching the fight out too long. It's not a bad scene... but it feels a bit hollow for me. While thinking a bit more about it, it also kind of reminded me of the Bud Spencer & Terrence Hill fight scenes (shout out to all those knowing the duo). But they bridged the time with having the violence be more slapstick, at times rather innovative use of the environment AND great quips. While the helluva boss fight scene for the most part is just great bloody violence, with some quips and jokes here and there...
@@undertakernumberone1 For me i reminded me more of a show called Super Jail. It was filled with random ultra violent fight scenes, but what made it work was that the fight scenes weren't a payoff for something else, they were their own little gorefests.
@@magicalminty6203 I think what breaks it for me mainly are the length and the placement. It goes on for like 3 minutes which actually is a decent chunk of the episode. And it comes after the song and before Stolas. I don't mind a nice fight scene. But this one just has nothing for me to invested in. There is no interesting back and forth in the fight. There is no tension. There is no real story to it. The enemies are characterless and at least for me it's not really cathartic to see them butchered simply because we don't see them do anything. The only ones who do something are One and Two. And the WORST they did ended up being a THERAPY SESSION for Moxxie and Blitzo. Maybe it'd been more interesting to me had the Agents not looked more incompetent than Red Shirts + Stormtroopers in their worst most incompetent portrayals. And Lampshading the stupid weapon choice is fun and all. But it imho doesn't really help the scene. It kind off feels like a cold open to an episode to me. 'guess I'd have preferred a more "story telling" bridge til Stolas or the fight scene compressed to like half it's actual length so that it would be more dense. Ironically when i watched Netflix' Daredevil and Punisher back in the day I was of the opinion that both shows could've used an episode that would've been basically like this. Not really part of the main story but just the main character being badass and taking out some criminals. But that's probably in part becuase the Marvel Netflix shows basically all followed the same formula and story progression. "Hero gets worn down. Villain seems too formidable. Hero wins in the last few episodes." When i saw the scene for the first time it instantly reminded me of Red VS Blue. Carolina & Washington and the Reds and Blues VS Agent Texas... es. Basically the whole Episode was a fight scene. And it was glorious because there it was the culmination of the season (and the Freelancer saga as a whole) and the character development of the Reds and Blues as well as Washington and Carolina. And Tex was a known character. Even when she was breaking down at this point and running multiple robot bodies.
I love how in the last fight, the music changes every time it changes who it shows fighting. Even if it is a slight change, it is there and I think it is to fit the fighting style/personalities
Moxxie's Voice actor is Richard Horvitz he was the voice of Daggett, from The Angry Beavers which ran from 1997-2001 on Nickelodeon and he also did the voice of Zim, from Invader Zim which ran from 2000-2001 on Nickelodeon. He also voiced Billy, and Billy's dad (Harold) from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy which ran from 2001-2007 on Cartoon Network.
I really like how after his trip Blitzø was more concerned and encouraging about the others telling Loona how proud he was of her offering things to Millie being more of a friend to Moxie and the biggest was when he called them all his family ( "come on, fam, let's blow this c*cksicle joint" ) and shielded them when 1 and 2 had them cornered Blitzø had quite an epiphany while tripping and even before the trip u can see that he obviously cares about the others as he protected Moxie from getting caught made sure Loona closed the portal before Millie could get back to them (possibility getting caught herself if she did) and he was clearly worried about Moxie when he got tranquillized Blitzø is a bit of a deeper character than most ppl think so this was great character development for him
Istasha reaction pls!!!!!!!!!! Hours of content for you to react too. His music needs more recognition because it is 🔥🔥🔥. Gonna need a new pillow after tho because you are going to beat the stuffing out of it listening to his music.
