I don't know much about horse riding (yet), but my girlfriend loves horses! This video made me understand why she has so much passion for the sport! 12 minutes of beauty and ellegance! Congratulations to the team, Elisa Wallace and Simply Priceless, on a fantastic run!
Oh WOW those were some insane jumps, those triangle short width ones.... amazing they take them very confusing looking!!! I'm so proud of you both, made me cry happy tears for you!!! Also tears of RELIEF that you both got through that course, amazingly scary for me to watch between the ears!!!! Thank you for sharing this xxx
Am I the only one who simulates this on a yoga ball/sit n bounce with yarn "reins"? My parents think something is wrong with me, but it really improves my riding skills by practicing my leg strength and jump timing.
Yeah I do the same! I ride everyday five times (I ride my three boys everyday plus I ride two of my coaches horses) except on Mondays that is their rest day usually
You have my deepest respect ... 12 minutes galloping through terrain, with difficult jumps ... wow. Simply wow. Your horse and you have amazing stamina and your video was very interesting, thank you!
I love this pair. I love the most how she congratulates her horse and talks to him and just is so nice. This is how people should treat there horses, with love. Amazing great job :)
The rain! The jumps are mountain high and wide! Johnny's ears pricked forward "what's next"! Elisa encouraging "good boy"! Wonderful video of a great ride to remember!
Probably one of the most amazing videos I've ever seen. Just beautiful. I get nervous taking my flighty Arabs over a 6" cross rail and so to see this, from this perspective was just awesome. Such an awesome team!!
You did so good! After XC was done I was walking the course and the table with the barrels was up to my chin and I'm 4'9", and atleast 5 ft wide. It was insane!
+Madison Stevens There's horses that can trot for fifty to over a hundred miles in one day. With rest stops along the way to check their condition at different intervals. It's called endurance riding and it's considered extremely testing also.
This is amazing the Hunter trails i do (in Ireland) take about 4 mins top and I'm exhausted after aand so is my horse so respect to u and ur horse for galloping over a really difficult course for 12 mins !!!
U know I don't think I have ever did cross county in the sun I think I'm bad luck because it always rains when I go but I think I prefer the rain because it kinda puts my horses spirit up and makes him nice and energetic and also cools me and my horse down as well lol
wow what a round in trying and testing conditions"" awesome some big combinations in ya face too ie very bright and off putting to a horse ie not belding in .. and such a intelligent horse too Well done ime JEALOUS!! happy xmas tc uk
I'm only doing 1* right now but I'm hoping to go up to 4* and seeing this course makes me just want to jump on my boy and do another event!! (It's another two weeks till the next event)
good god i tip my samshield to eventers esp during the cross country part.. im a show jumper and i like to think nothing scares me.. but get me on a xc field and ill prob pee my pants terrified >.
Great job! I started taking lessons 9 or so months ago, and it's so much fun! I ride the sweetest little Shetland pony named Merry legs. I do lessons every Saturday, but sometimes my instructor has shows and we can't go, but sadly she has shows quite alot, so we can't ride every Saturday but most of the times we can. In July we couldn't go to lessons for maybe 8 or 7 or close weeks, I missed Merry legs soo much, but it's always good to take breaks, to gather your strength for the next lesson. :) I ride with my sistet, and she rides 2 horses. She rides a horse named Drummer (Stallion) and Katy. (Mare) Their both sweethearts, but they can be kinda stubborn to get into a trot. But all of that clucking, it's worth it because both of their trots are beautiful and smooth. She just started riding Drummer, and he's super hard to get into a trot, but like I said it's worth it for the smooth trot. What's funny is when she's riding Katy, and she has the crop (they both have a stubborn way about their trot so keep that in mind.) Katy just zooms and gets in a canter within like 3 seconds and she's not like that when my sister doesn't have the crop. xD That's just the strange way about Katy, and then with Drummer, the crop tells him to go, but he's really sensitive so he just won't get in a trot very well. My sister use to ride a qauter horse named Tink and he was like 32 and his trot was soo bumpy. I had to ride him once, because Merry legs had a bruised hoof, and it was so bruised. I felt his trot and it felt like I was riding a bunny, he's old and I understand, but his trot is so slow and bumpy. Any who that's all. :)
if I may ask.. how do you keep him so level headed and quiet? my new pony likes to bolt into and put of jumps and I was wondering if there was any tips I could have? Great riding by the way
Awesome ride! I'm so happy for you both! I can only imagine the strength and stamina it must take to just complete a course like that. Thank you for sharing with us!
This totally put tears in my eyes! I'm so happy that your Rolex debut was so kick ass, you're an excellent horsewoman and I hope I can meet you one day :)
+Liberty Rimmer Eventing FEI never banned them. British Eventing DID ban them then USA banned them too, but USA lifted the ban. Helmet cams are allowed in USA, but competitions can still ban them if they want. I forget if British Eventing unbanned them or not.
EventerAJ Okay, thank you! I was speaking with someone - who's just a negative Nancy all the time - and they said the jumps would be more like 6' and that she could easily beat all the top riders. I was like, yeah right. On your fat QHs that seem to have issues everytime you speak of them?
