I had a 2002 version of this bike, of course the sports bike obsessed british press were very dismissive about it. If you didn't want the ridiculous running costs of an fj12 and the like, it was great. I did two runs from the UK to Naples no problem. Annnywhooo.....
I just sold my ST1100 Pan European .. it was a fantastic bike but just to heavy for me. Only really a problem when parking or pulling up a bit sharpish etc. So... having tried the NT700V on Monday I have managed to find a very similar bike, 2011 with 10K miles & Red, for £1995 !! £3500 less than the one I test rode 👍😀

@@PaulDonovan Attention it often falls to the stop because it is very heavy. I upgraded mine by adding a gear display, low fairing, heated grips, radiator guard, mud flap, lowered and softer seat.
