I’ve been a huge fan of Travis since he came to KC but this podcast has been great to get to know Jason more because he is hilarious, tough, happy and awesome
I actually sorta got to meet Jason. He was at a restaurant that I was eating at and on the way out I thought I saw him at a table so I took a double take and while I was doing that he looked up at me and I froze I wanted to ask for a picture but didn’t wanna invade his privacy so I just said “hey how you doing” then proceeded to walk fast out the restaurant. One of the coolest yet most awkward moments in my life haha
Not asking him to make it about you was the most responsible and respectful thing you could have done in that moment. I'm sure he appreciates your thoughtful gesture.
It’s one of the things that Kansas City is good about. We don’t interrupt them when they’re eating out or doing their business around town. The Chiefs have so many Signings and give us so many other opportunities to get their signatures that fans usually don’t bother them. It’s a couple years since I lived there but I can’t believe it’s changed much since I left. I really miss living in Kansas City Missouri! I can’t imagine the excitement of living through these times. I lived during the “oh well there’s always next year!” times and KC was wearing red and fanatical about their Chiefs then! I would love to be living there now! Sure do miss it!❤😢
I grew up on the cowboys, whole family is cowboys fans. I remember going to a football game at arrowhead cause I lived in Kansas most of my life. I remember watching Gonzalez play and he immediately made me love the sport. Which I honestly didn't care for before then, been a chiefs fan since then.
I played football and coached football my whole life and this is the first time I've paid attention to a CENTER...I’ve learned a lot just by watching you homie💯 please keep doing what yall are doing!! #newHeightsYETTI'S
Nice to hear about the recovery process from Travis about the Titans game. All of us chiefs fans are still recovering from heart issues from that game. Whew haven't felt that intensity in a game in a while, it ends and you realize your hearts been banging on your ribcage for an hour.
I’m 36 born and raised in Cleveland knew about Jason being from shaker I went to OU for college and went to cinci for a few parties and Jason’s partying status was legendary at that point.. he had that house was the literal animal house
you both do such a great job talking about football. I think it would be helpful if you go into specifics of a play when you give an example of some play. Thank you!
I went to the Chiefs Raiders Monday night game earlier this year and I tell you the atmosphere there was amazing especially that terrible roughing the passer call on Chris Jones
This is cool. Two of the best players in football on two of the best teams in the league and they are equally entertaining. The scary part is the next time they meet on the field might be in the Superbowl.
My wife doesn’t know football but she now knows the Kelce brothers! Thank you for being relatable, funny, and giving a more in depth realistic look of the game! Also I think the the new heights Heightsman would be an awesome name for us! We are the New Heightsman 🤘🏼
you both have played unbelievable this year both your teams my opinion best team in Afc and Nfc you to big parts of reasons why also. Respect big fans of you both
I absolutely love and look forward to your shows each week! You two are both hilarious and give great insight inside the game. I now watch both of you play and when something happens I think how funny its going to be when you guys talk about it on the next show. Keep up the great work.
I saw that Chiefs Sunday night game. Dude was all over you. I know you were tired. You had to take a few ice baths. You are human. People are entitled to get upset once in a while. Great job. Keep up the good work. Eagles lifer here.
New sub and I love the show. I just realized that these sports pro podcasts is a motivator for the guys. Especially Travis and Jason here. They know that their performance the week before will be brought up on the show and highlighted (or nitpicked) by each other infront of their fans/viewers. If you made a mistake or didn't perform as well as you wanted too, there will be little jabs and minor jokes made at your expense. I know if I was on a show with my brother thats watched by thousands of fans, Id go even further to make sure I did everything I could and the best to my ability for every play (not like th Kelce's don't btw). Its a great spotlight on your performance every week, which will only benefit the team as a whole!
Love during the micked up superbowl when Mahomes says the same line he said during the New Heights broadcast to his huddle. "We have to find a way to drag our asses across the finish line." Classic. I wanted the Eagles to win but if we had to lose I'm okay it's to Mahomes & Trav. Both The Eagles & KC do it the right way. Hard work. Respect.
Travis, you are incredibly smart. Hearing you talk about your strategy during play and what you watch for. Impressive. All the best to you both. Family man and family man in the making. Love it. Mom from Vancouver. I am a swiftie and now a 92%er. lol Who knew!
I’m not even a big fan of football I’m more of a basketball guy. But I can watch these two guys all day just talk about football and there experiences playing in the league.💯💯
Shout out to Travis Kelce and the Chiefs! I got married on Sunday and my new father in law is a diehard chiefs fans so the comeback win was the cherry on top of an already special day
Travis, thanks for explaining RPO. I would love you two to do some educational segments to educate those of us who could use some info about football. It's my favorite sport to watch, but I would love to learn some info about formations, reasons for plays, etc. Thanks guys. I love your show!!!
No dumb question: (swiftie here) what is on the wrist band that the QB wears? And what is on the massive sheet that the coach holds all game? Looks like A LOT of words
Guys! Love the podcast. You make me laugh through the week listening to it and I appreciate that so much. I love watching football and work with my sister and enjoy your brotherly interplay (is that a good word for you Mr. T. Kelce?). Thanks keep it up!
Hearing that Jermichael Finley love made me super happy as a Packers fan. Wish his health could have stayed better and he could have been in the league for longer.
My BF and I went to the Chiefs game vs the Titans on November 6. Thanks to Travis and the Chiefs for a great first in-person NFL game experience! Definitely one to remember!! Stephen surprised me tickets and proposed after the epic game!! - Jori
