@BrackynMor I see, I just have a neighbor who blames me for everything wrong in his life, because he always asks for money, laundry detergent, dishsoap, floor cleaner, and whines about not having enough food. Nevermind the fact that he spends all of his own money on booze, Cigs, and Grass.
@1984Brandon
@1984Brandon 4 года назад
@BrackynMor Ha, I'm getting more advice on poor Octav1us' thread comments then housing authority. Well... ...Hopefully I will be moving in not too much longer. Until then I just stay in my apartment with a door alarm, leave when the video surveillance is on and try to not escalate the situation. The biggest culprits are always following me and saying remarks, I'm not liked by some but most of the people genuinely know I help with car troubles and shovel snow. The ones that pick on me always have excuses to not help. It sucks for me in the short term but everyone knows what creeps they are, so let them keep making a joke of themself. You know how it's a bad idea to bite the hand that feeds you, They'll ask me for help and I'll direct them to the neighbors. I think it will get old fast...

9:20. Bit of trivia. Back in the 90s (probably) we found an old IBM dumb terminal keyboard from the 60s that had been laying in a disused cabinet for a couple of decades. I picked it up and "woh! How is this piece of plastic so heavy!" We took it apart, and I am NOT EXAGGERATING, there was a 6 inch slab of LEAD laying on the bottom. That keyboard was "screwed" to the desk when you used it. It ain't moving.
@blinkinglightsandsmokingcaps
@blinkinglightsandsmokingcaps 4 года назад
2:45 That's a Teletype ASR-33. They were used before dumb terminals as input and output devices, with the paper-tape punch/reader being used to save files. The earliest micro-computers such as the Altair 8080 could be used with one, with Microsoft's BASIC being available on paper tape.
