HELP! I Think My Piercing Holes are Closed? 

i was crying for 45 minutes because one side wouldn’t go in and it was very painful. i have this skin condition that makes my skin swell up after scratching at it and i thought it wouldn’t go it but it did after i tried in different areas.

I just removed my earrings for 1 week and the front has an open wound, but the back of my ear I can't tell if it's open or closed..

I've literally been crying for like 30 mins and my mom is talking bout "its just a piercing" like nooo- praying this vid helps🤧🙏🤞

I just said whatever and pushed it back in

The weird thing is is that i can put it in through the back but then when i try to put it through the front it wont go in its werid

I just had some sorta panic attack when I couldn’t put back my earring after leaving them overnight. Man it took me 12 hours! I realise I needed to break through a layer of skin. That’s when I started using some ice cubes. Some people say popping that layer of skin isn’t gonna hurt but I end up feeling dizzy cuz of that pain 😔

YOU ARE A LIFESAVER!!!!! I was so frustrated because I could NOT get my earring through after a day of leaving it without an earring. I thought I had to have it re-pierced!!! I soaked a cotton pad in hot water, warmed the skin around my piercing, and went through the back. Thank you!!!

My hole opened up after 4 years

I followed this and got my ear repierced successfully! For me it did hurt a bit and bled a little, but I was able to get an earring in. Piercing through scared tissue hurts way more, isn't? Love it! Thank you so much for sharing.

I kinda just forced regular studs into my pretty much closed ears the other day... I seem okay 😐. They seem like they’re healing.

As someone who regularly has to go through the back after months and years of not wearing earrings, I've even had to bleed a tiny bit. But never really any pain.

I've only had them partially close, more specifically on the back of my ears, and I would shove the earring in. It hurts like hell, but it's worth it.

This video helped so much! After 2 years of not wearing earrings I tried to get the earring through the pierce and it hurt a bit at first but after 2 days of wearing earrings my pierce has completely opened up and now the earring slides through without it hurting or any effort 😆😆

omg someone help!! i have 2 piercings in one ear, and it won’t go in at all. But my other ear is perfect and will get in quickly. My right ear has two because i accidentally stabbed my ear when i was trying to get it in quickly, and i thought it was fine, and now i have two. I tried everything and my piercing won’t get in! My right ear is so messed up and i hate it bc whenever there’s a celebration i can’t wear them

It worked! 1 of my 2nd lobe piercings was halfway closed and I twisted a regular earring in until it was thin enough to just ‘POP’! So relieved!

It literally hurt soooo much trying to put them back in after only 3 days of not wearing them. And all 6 piercings are lobe piercing which Is supposed to be easiest to heal and manage

Both of my ears partially closed and i opened one back up but the other ear I’m still working on. If you are scared to forced it through just keep playing with it trying to open it and when you get the adrenaline to push it through , pull your ear and push the earring through for me it didn’t hurt I just felt a lot of pressure and when you feel that pop your gonna feel so relieved. But I’m still working on the other one haha

Jesus. I've been at trying to put this nose bone in for hours - this video helped me get it through - I didn't have a nose piercing stud, so - don't be weirded out - I used a sterilized straightened out staple, got right through, then bam, my nose bone went right in painlessly. The whole process was painless - just finding the angle that the nose stud needed to go in was a huge help. I honestly thought my nose piercing had closed! Thanks for this video!

I was allergic to my first earring, then the next time I got my ear pierced, it was at an angle, so I always have trouble with that one side.

THANK YOU so much for highlighting the fact that we should always check first to see if an earring opening that appears to have closed up, is in fact actually closed, before we start thinking about having to get it re-pierced. Hearing how the heat from getting a shower could cause the earring opening to become softer, which may help the earring to pass through it, I placed a warm cloth on my earlobe to start. After this I followed another RU-vidr’s suggestions on how to get an earring through an opening that is closed up or perceived to be closed and like magic the earring just slid through without any effort whatsoever. I was stunned! I even questioned myself afterwards wondering why it seemed like I couldn’t put my earring on the last time that I tried many months ago. Just learning from you, who is an experienced ear piercer, that it was possible that my opening might not actually be closed, gave me the confidence to see if I could get the earring through the opening. I am so thankful to you that I can now wear earrings in both of my ears again! (After I couldn’t get an earring through the opening in my left ear, I have been wearing an earring on my right ear just to keep that opening from closing up. But I felt kind of silly wearing just one earring)

Uh. The struggles. I did it tru the back but I’m leaving it like that for a while so it opens up then I’ll switch it around. Lol

What if its only partially closed? One of my ears the back part of the to piercing is still there but the front is closed completely. Could I go through the back with a sterilized needle myself?

i had closed ears for 2 years. somehow i managed to put my earings in just an hour ago. it was scary as hell and i was shaky. but it worked.

omg thanks you this helped so much! i’d taken out my second holes’ jewellery for a few days then only the right one went in after a lot of pain and struggle but the left one was refusing. i’d done everything that was suggested in the video other than the shower thing so i literally just rubbed warm water onto my lobe and the earring slid right back in 😩thank you!!

I got my earlobe pierced two months ago and I finally took them out for first time for a day but when I tried inserting my earrings back on again only my right earlobe looked close and I tried inserting the earring and it actually went through the hole but my earlobe hole started to bleed but just a bit I’m worried

So my hole closed n after 3 years I pierced again .. I took my earrings off for two nights n they were closing so I used force n accidentally opened my old hole . Now I got two holes ... great 😞 not to mention that it hurts a lot

i was struggling to re Pierce my helix piercing, blood was shed everywhere. instead of getting a napkin for the blood, i decided to just let it dry in my hand, but more blood shed and i decided to draw a heart using my blood. my asian mom saw it and was furious that i MIGHT be psychotic 😔🤝

Its been six years since ive had an earing in (ive only got my left ear pierced once), but ive had the same ear pierced twice so i ended up with 1 entry hole and 2 exit holes that both worked. The thumb trick worked first try with no lubricant! Thanks again!

I've always just used a thumbtack and grit my teeth through the pain to reopen that thin layer of healed skin, then just put my piercing in. I wear earrings probably less than five times a year and have been doing that for years, but I only realize now as an adult how bad it is to use a thumbtack because those are not a sterile piece of metal. Always make sure to clean off everything with rubbing alcohol or another kind of antiseptic before trying to open up those piercings!

i got my right ear pierced back in october and it hasn’t healed fully like when i change the earring i have to break through the skin again and i have to take them out for a the sport im going to do this month what do i do?

for me, i had to get my earrings removed because the skin on the backside of my ear grew over the back piercing. in regards of the piercing, the hole is still there but the backside is closed up and still has a scar. but i can poke the earring up to the backside

OMG TYSM!! i thought it closed because i couldn’t get it in my ear of just leaving it out for 4 ish hours. i just had a heart attack but then slipped it right through backward..

i have a question, I decided to pierce my ears myself(a second lobe piercing) and after 3 weeks of letting it heal i decided to let it close up because it was uneven, could i get it repierced in a few months in a similar location or would that be a bad idea. also will the pierings close up cause its been a day and i can still see the holes and could get earings through them.

This is really helpful! I couldn’t put the earring in but then had a hot shower then it was easily put in! But I only managed to put one in, is there anyway it could be blocked? I’ve tried doing the back but it doesn’t work.

On my left ear, it went through both sides but not completely through. So I put it through each side and pushed to make it go through the other then pushed it again. This time it was as if you were putting the earring in normally. I had to do a little pushing and it bled a bit, but it didn't hurt as much as a real piercing and it worked!

I had my ears pierced when I was 17. Now Im 39 and for last few years I didn’t wear earrings as whatever earrings I wear made my ears hurt, swell. I can say they never healed. Should I just re-pierce them in slightly different spot? Also as an experiment I got titanium (maybe fake titanium) earrings that are screw on, as maybe Im allergic to yellow gold, gold in general and any other metals. I don’t have issues wearing rings though… my ears are weird…

I have 4 piercings on one ear and 3 on the other (and one nose piercing) because I really like it but I have very sensitive skin and it hurts when I wear earrings for few hours. So some times I avoid wearing them for days but the holes start swelling and its a struggle to put the earrings back in even the nose... the struggle is real 😔

For me I just used a needle to poke it lol, hurt liek a bitch but it got in 🌚 and I gotta do this for both my 3rd holes 💀

Going through the front is painful. Always go through the back. We do it that way with my young nieces (4 & 5). No pain.

I had earrings when I was about 5 years old. But it got infected and closed up. Then I got them pierced again when I was 13. I don't remember a lot about the healing process but I can leave them without earrings for months and they don't close up anymore...now I have a few more piercings (not done with a gun, I learned) and those are a bit more problematic. 😅

I have very old piercings I haven't used in 10-15 years and on both my ears I can only go through the back now.;;;; I'm gonna get some earrings I can put in backwards and wear them for a while, and if that doesn't open it up enough to go through the front, I think I'll just poke though.... it gets so close, it would be easy to poke the rest of the way..

For those who having problem that their back ear piercing is closed try my hack: heat the Needle (scarf pin,safety pin) and enter in it in hole gently it will open your hole because sometimes it is open but when the pas freezes it cover the hole. Must try guyzzz👌
