I just found only one in my shed yesterday I took out every thing bless it's heart she's doing good so far fingers crossed she does well I love her so much already, I believe the mom was moving the others wen our dogs scared her I feel so bad but I will take good care of her !!
I think they did it right, because if too young this could have caused the mom to move them and put them in danger; if they weren't going to bring them in the house. Sometimes, it's best to wait, unless your committed to caring for them. Of course not everyone can take in a litter of kittens although I WISH that were the case. But I definitely understand your sentiment.
This rescue reminded me of my most recent fosters🥰 we were outside ALL DAY in the heat trying to get to them. They were squished behind a dying tree, between a chain link fence and up on a dirt ledge. Practically impossible to reach so we were like Hannah😂 all on the floor, in the dirt and reaching and digging till we got them😅 they are both healthy now❤️ one is going to be adopted by his medicinal foster and the other has just been adopted 🥳 These handsome boys are so precious and will be snuggly soon!🤩 I read mine the Tiny but Mighty book to get them used to humans and my voice and they were purring within a few hours 🥰 thanks Hannah!!!
Wow all of them look absolutely beautiful and fluffy. Wish I could own a pet like that one day. Locking a cat up in one room all day every day is not an option so I will just have to wait for now ☺️
I enjoyed this video SO much! A real life rescue from a suburban back yard and finding perfectly healthy babies that are so easily adoptable! Oh, and the topping on the pizza (not cake!) was how ding dang CUTE they all are! And such innocence on their little bewildered faces. I’m melting.
I still get so emotional seeing kittens trembling. 6:51 The poor babies are so scared. Thankfully they'll soon realize they're in the safest hands there is!
@@ann275 She doesn't care. She may not have come back at all. The kittens are five to six weeks. Weaning age starts at five weeks. At that age their mother is pushing them away herself. They don't need a mother that is DONE with them. They will come back to TNR the cats in the neighborhood. The kittens will be neutered and adopted. That's the important part. Happy end for all concerned.
With some dramatic music, and a brief highlight of how the kittens end up being in loving homes after some TLC, this would be a very, very succesful TV show! I hope it becomes a reality soon enough! :)
Their markings are awesome and they are going to be so fluffy. I miss having kittens running around my house. Love your videos Peace and love to you and your family ❤💛❤💛❤💛
Whew, that was quite the work out! Go Andrew & Hannah!!! They looked so scared when they were in the trap, I can't wait to see them happy and relaxed in foster care
Oh what cuties! TS looks just like my Handsome Rob kitty when his feral mom brought her litter to me. He was VERY saucy, but ended up being my complete snuggle bug and best companion for over 13 years. 🐾❤️😽🥰🙏🏼
You are one of my new heroes. .....and not just because you rescue kittens, but also because you seem to be even more flexible than I am. That is SHOCKING that you can already hold them and put meds on them. My oldest is 13 years old and we CANNOT hold her for even a second..........and we have scars from giving her flea drops and meds.
She won't be. She may not have come back at all. Cats push kittens away at the weaning age of five weeks. They do NOT care anymore at that point. These kittens are around five to six weeks. They need solid food. They do not need a mother that is DONE with them. Their mother and any other cats in the neighborhood will be TNRed. That's the important thing.
I want to cry over Roni he looks like my kitty Buster who passed away 5 years ago when he was a baby. I rescued him from a little girl swinging him by his tail
You are awesome with cats. I wish you could come to my home I just moved into in January and help with this cat colony that's starting to get out of hand.
I'm in Peoria AZ and I have 5 kittens and a momma cat I need help getting caught and fixed...I'll gladly take care of mommas forever but I cant seem to find help at least getting them caught and tnr'ed.
They are so cute and chubby. I am more excited for Fergie. Once you get these little ones healthy and vaccinated, Fergie will have three new playmates.
@@miafillene4396 A few weeks off at the time this was posted. They should be neutered within a week or two now. Two months or two pounds is the timeline for cats. These guys looked about five to six weeks old at the time the video was made. Rescued kittens and cats need a two week minimum quarantine to check for health issues. For these guys that quarantine actually lines up nicely with when they'd have their neuter appointments set. After their neuter they won't have to spend much more time in foster care. Basically they get a fast track to happy adoption! Being Orphan Kitten Club members also means the neighborhood they were found in will be TNRed. Lucky kittens indeed!
@@miafillene4396 Trap. Neuter. Return. It's a wonderful program that helps prevent animal suffering. The cats in the neighborhood will be TNRed, no more kittens will be born there for a good long while. A happy end for all concerned.
Try actually watching the video. They are returning later for Trap Neuter Return in the area. Those kittens do NOT need their mother anymore. They need solid food. Their mother does NOT care anymore. The important thing is that no more kittens will be born in that neighborhood for a good long while after the TNR group is done.
@@aautumn733 I did watch the video. I am aware that these kittens are old enough to have been weaned. I commented what I did because I knew they were doing TNR and also I assume that it takes a little time for a video to be edited so in the period since filming, they may have already caught her.
So what happened to the mother? Is she gone for good or just went off somewhere for a shot while? Also the kitten lady really is good with cats and kittens. Awesome, keep up the good work
I'm almost done watching the video so I'm not sure if this happened but I hope you're able to go back and try to find the mom cuz the mom will come and check on the babies even though they're at that age where they don't need Mom they will probably still be checked on by the mother and it would be great if the people let you know when she comes around so you could possibly rescue her as well as long as you don't have little baby somewhere else
Which you should be able to tell if she has babies once you're able to catch her I really hope you're able to find the Mommy cuz then you could get her get her fixed and give her to a forever home possibly I'm not sure some people say you can't make a feral cat friendly to humans some people say you can I guess it depends on the cat and their age and how long they've lived outside also if you can't make her a pet for somebody that's okay at least catch her and she can get fixed so no more kittens or out on the street
