Lauren, you’re truly my best reason to visit RU-vid. I love love love your videos, your way of talking, your dialogues with your lovely Mum, your kindness, the authenticity that you bring into this whole online world. No, you’re not alone with the mental health struggle, I can absolutely relate 5o that and to that feeling of „guilt“…..though there is NO guilt….when you’re not always busy. I wish for you that you can just enjoy your resting times and gain some energy and inspiration out of it. Thank you for still being here, you’re a blessing. 💕💕💕💕

Lauren, maybe this is unsolicited advice but it's coming from a place of love. I relate so much to your feelings of being frozen and stuck in survival mode - wanting to do nothing and feeling guilty, doomscrolling in the car for hours before u get in... WANTING more than anything to get up and do things but physically not being able to. But recently I've found that just limiting my screentime to 1 hour a day has been so helpful./ My anxiety and ADHD means i'm always looking for stimulation, so I'm trying to occupy my time (and hands) with anything but my phone. Reading, coloring, decluttering, cleaning, going for a walk, doing my makeup - ANYTHING. Maybe try something like that for a while and see if it helps? I honestly feel like phones and non stop scrolling is such a huge percentage of all my mental health issues.

I enjoy seeing you so much that I watch many of these vids twice. Love when you said it's annoying when plants keep growing and need bigger pots and more space which becomes a never-ending task...they are our "children" and they depend on us! Love my plants !

You always make me smile and laugh and I look forward to watching your videos but if you ever need to take a week, take it! Never let the pressure effect you, your mental health comes first! Big hugs! ❤😊

When you talked about feeling guilty for taking a rest day it made me cry. I’ve been feeling a bit low this week and on top of that the guilt is crushing me. Thank you for being real and for sharing!

After sitting (in a wee state of confusion) listening to your mum explain what her trousers are supposed to look like, then a pic of what your mum ordered compared to what she got, I just HOWLED for minutes, minimum SOOOOO CUTE, SO GOOD, thank you! I can't. OK onwards...

My boyfriend and I were bummed right along with you that you didn't get to have the Biscoff MC flurry! Then we started talking about how long it's been since we went to McDonald's.....then naming off our favorite things there....and now we're eating cheeseburgers and fries!! Sometimes just getting out of the door, to the shops or to the pub for a beer will change your mindset, talking from experience with dealing with very intimidating men this week. Getting away for a couple of days away from screens definitely helps too! Glad you got all your nice bits and loved your hail Lauren! Xx ❤🎉

Videos can NEVER be too long!! 😂 I can completely understand not wanting to do anything on your days off. I am that way. Especially since I’m an introvert and my days off are when I need quiet time to recharge.

The cockatiel mug is actually a galah and the parrot mug is a lorrikeet. If theres a black parrot then it could be a black cockatoo. I have them coming to my local park every day. Im changing over my tropical garden to a more native bird friendly garden. Just found your channel. Its like ive met a new good mate. Lots of laughs and good stories. 😂

Lauren, it doesn’t matter if you have no kids, don’t work, or 18 kids and 3 jobs……we all have our coping mechanisms. Occasionally we simply just can’t load more onto our already jammed time. We all have different energy levels and mental health levels. I for one don’t work, as I’ve retired, but seriously….some days I just can’t even barely stay awake, or move from the couch. Other days I do so much that I surprise even myself. I can relate to you just wanting to lay in bed and stare at the ceiling. I had a breakdown years ago and for 2 years I couldn’t even leave my house. I would just lay in the foetal position and not move all day…..this went on a long time. So be kind to yourself, relax, slow down and learn your limits and don’t feel guilt because of it either. You do you hun, and ignore the haters. You do amazingly well. Keep up the good work xx😘🌸💖🌸💖

I completely understand the pressure about posting regularly on youtube! It's so stressful seeing revenue and engagements going down. My mental health has been horrid this summer and it's definitely impacted how often I've been posting so you're not alone! I adore your videos so much and always look forward to them. ❤

I had a massive headache most of the day today and just surrendered to it and the couch most of the day. Budgeting "doing nothing" is just as important for me as getting my work done. I like to have at least one hour of lay-down time in the middle of the day. I don't have 18 kids, but I worked 18 years in corporate America and I've earned these siestas. Ole!

Re: your mom’s idea, here in the US, in some very big truck stops in major hubs, they do have dentist offices, doctor offices (more like urgent care … not sure of the UK equivalent, like a drop-in for basic medical needs), etc. so that truckers who spend a ton of time on the road can still take care of life responsibilities. All that to say - while not a five minute task, I would love a salon in a train station. Once I get home from work it’s so hard to head back out but if I could schedule something to stop on my way home …

Sometimes I think we all just need a reset. Mine is a dark room. I have black out curtains. It can be 2PM and I have days that I call "dark room day". I pull the curtains and turn off the lights and shut out the world. We all need that. Even if your version is a bed full of stuff (that would drive me insane btw) Just push it off the end of the bed and throw a blanket over it. Tada.... lol xxxxx
