IN THIS WEEKS VIDEO....
HELP ! MY WALL HAS RUINED MY NEW CAR WE HAVE BEN ASKED TO DEMOLISH A BRICK PILLAR AND RE BUILD IT TO INCREASE THE DRIVE WIDTH AS THE CUSTOMER GOT A NEW CAR WHICH WAS A BIT BIGGER SO STRUGGLED TO GET THROUGH THE GAP AND SCRATCHED THER CAR.
WE DROP, RE BUILD AND PATCH THE HOLE IN THE DRIVE ALL ON A VERY HOT DAY ...ENJOY 🧱👍🏽

Agree with your comment of getting rid of rubble. Here on the IoW we have a local aggregates company that allows people to drop off clean rubble for free which is very handy.

i think the problem with that other brick peer is the telegraph pole has moved and its acting as a big leaver if its leaning toward the road then the bottom will have pushed away from the road and moved that brick work up in the air. just a thought.

How about a Hippo bag at home for all the rubbish from those smaller jobs that don't warrant a skip? 3 or 4 little jobs to fill it up then gone, not super cheap but saves all that mucking about in your car and queueing at the local tip? Look after that hip mate. ATB

@@SteveAndAlexBuild I know they're dear, about a hundred quid for a one ton bag, but split that between 4 jobs say if you have room and it saves a fair bit of time going to the tip. Or quite often I ask some other builder who has a skip if I can offload a small amount for a drink. I find around here getting rid of rubbish legally is a lot of hassle. Anyway take care .

. Coincidentally we have a 2 ton skip on the drive now . £100 . Put a bit on the last few jobs to pay for it . Skips don’t collapse when they are half full 😉🧱👍🏽

Great job.Those bricks look like giscol commons,whatever the black stuff inside them is seems to react with the mortar causing it to swell up and crack the beds.

I am surprised you don't make a bench to work on for cleaning up all the bricks or whatever, saves all that squatting down on the floor. It is always the first thing we do on our jobs, couple of band stands a few old scaff boards then you can sit comfortable on the hop up. Then most importantly put the kettle on it!! How do you take your tea?? with biscuits!! ATB from J and H Builders

Steve couldn’t you of gone private ages ago ,surely you must be putting pressure on other parts of your body compensating for the injured hip . I can vouch you can’t put a price on your health ,as don’t matter how much you got it ain’t much good if you’ve not got your heath believe me
