Crowns are individual and bridges are anchored to the teeth on either side of the bridge. Basically crowns in the back of your mouth are made from the same material as the bridge...so it is the same amount of time...but...there are so many factors...does the patient maintain regular cleaning appointments, does the patient wear a nightguard., does the patient drink sugary drinks and a high carb diet, does the patient have medical issues, does the patient floss and brush regularly, etc? Once the crowns and or bridges are cemented, all of the above factors determine the longevity of the restorations...Patients have total control of the longevity of their dental work! I also recommend implants vs. bridges ...
Wow I did had a sensitivity tooth, and I told the dentist to extracted I regret it so much, cause it was one of my back molars, now I can’t chew my food right, and I belief that there’s no flexible pastoral that I can use, since I have no support from other teeth. You think there’s a partial for the back teeth, and also I wanted to ask you, i had like a little crack on my other teeth and the dentist put a composite filling and she grinned the tooth and the tooth feels thin and is loose,
Saving aback tooth is always best but since it is extracted, an implant is your best solution....as far as the composite, the filling will not cause the tooth to loosen
@@DrTerriAlani And another question I wanted to ask you, I’m not a good candidate for implants since I have gum disease? And also can gum disease lead you to Sepsis?
