@Israel Onaghinor I can't say 100% without knowing about every single person that ever lived, but I'm reasonably sure he is the first of his kind. To do what Dimash has done, you have to be classically trained as a tenor (modern opera style was invented only in the early 1800s), counter tenor classical training, octavist training for his subharmonic bass, whistle notes (mid-20th Century technique), pop vocals (20th Century technique), Middle Eastern/Asian vocal traditions, jazz/R&B (20th Century techniques) etc. On top of that, you must be an extraordinary vocal athelete with absolute pitch. The odds are astronomical against someone else having his natural born talent that he developed in all these areas to where he can perform them at a world-class level.
@Israel Onaghinor I agree that his "natural" singing voice is that of a light operatic tenor, which is still very powerful. Those acquinted with opera would not compare him to Correli, much less Caruso, who had much stronger voices. It's well known that he was offered a position with the Kazakh national opera but my understanding is that it was as a counter-tenor and he lists a famous Kazakh counter tenor among his musical idols.

I am a new dear, and I absolutely love and have the utmost respect for his talent and his integrity and he is so humble...The 'judges' who bad mouthed him just made total jerks of themselves-idiots. Anyway I am sure his family is very proud of him his father looked like it when the camera showed him in the wings watching Dimash perform. So, this 61 yr. old 'new' dear hopes to see him one day, I live in Oregon so I know I'd have to travel but it would be worth it! I'm sure Dimash will make out here again, hopefully for something closer to you like LA. His mother and father were at the NYC Concert, beaming the whole time.
That is bc those judges were communist members most likely. I hope that Dimash,his parents& handlers knew that although he was invited,the only foreign citizen to be invited to participate in that tv contest in CCPChina,that they would never allow anyone else to win BT a Chinese citizen. It is the arrogance of isolation& forced conformity of a brutal ruthless fascist authoritarian regime forced upon its own people. I am glad Dimash accepted the invite bc it was a great way to be introduced to the largest single market(meaning country in this case) on the planet. His only concert in USA was in NYC but it had real flaws, drawbacks& problems that were not Dimash fault at all but was the fault of production,direction,lighting,sound system plus a 30min. delay to start of concert which caused many ppl to walk out early before the concert was over,before Dimash had even finished his part of the show. They should NEVER have that happen to such a great singer-the best in the world. (CCPChina is just jealous& envious that they can not claim Dimash as their own citizen& will not lift a finger to promote him bc of that!) Dimash show needs to be less bright lights-NONE on the audience except at one short moment so he can see them& kiss& big hug but then must turn the lights off the audience bc they are blinded and can not see Dimash,it needs must much better choreography-too amateur at times,too busy& in front of him the star& all that is too distracting,too much flashy busy busy light show (psychedelics are passé). Just tone all of that down. He would do great with a few songs(He picks which) are that artist that was on AGY I think who creates amazing painted pictures using her hands only& it’s projected on huge screen in real time& eases it& creates another from a piece of the former all done on a black background,incl.the female artist (that would be amazing accompaniment to some of his songs!) His costumes range from superb to poor & need some tweaking. Of course all of these comments are for Dimash to conquer the western markets/countries. English,Spanish&Chinese speaking would conquer the world countries in general for Dimash. He could also customize a couple of songs learning to sing them phonetically like he is doing already for a smaller market/country,which would endear him to them.
I am falling in love with his voice immediately - new dear here 😍😘❤️ And I am literally like a woman in love can’t get enough oh him. Today I spent nothing but searching videos after videos of Dimash. His voice made me listen to Music again!
I love this guy. The most talented singer on this planet and possibly all other planets. Range, control, feel, sound, transitions, singing and microphone technique, stage presence, even whomever does his sound and effects calibrations, etc...all consistently and perfectly flawless. The results of extreme talent, top permanent training from super early age, passion, and love for what he does. A perfect storm of all key performance drivers have come together in one person.
In addition to being a wonderful singer, he appears to be a wonderful person as well. We need him and his message of love now more than ever in this world that is often filled with conflict and hate.

I was surprised Dimash joined this competition. He is getting a lot of free advertising from it and there are a lot of viewers in the US that are seeing him that otherwise wouldn't. Regardless of what happens, Dimash should keep doing his thing.

I watched the Arnau concert and when he introduced his family, I could not understand a word he was saying which caused me to wondered about his Grandparents who I presumed brought him up, but I did not know this is normal practise in that part of the world. @@rahulnayar9881 He didn't sing much in English prior to his appearance in China on the "Singer" TV competition. Even now his pronunciation is not always up to the standard typical of other performers that have made it big in the US. I hope that he continues to work at it and look for opportunities over here. He is amazing in every way.

Lol!! He is a highly polished, trained and talented artist coupled with a stage presence that makes him a total package. I saw "Jamaica" sung by him when he was a kid. I was blown away.
AMERICANS, Dimash is doing a live concert at Madison Square Garden this Fall. Keep a look out. It should be scheduled between October 23-29. This will be His Solo Concert. He is already scheduled to perform at the great Russian composer, Igor Krutoy's tribute that same time period. Laura Fabian was one of Igor's protegees. You still have a chance for tickets to Igor's concert. I just wish I could afford two concerts. Tickets will go fast. Kazakhstan, according to ticket sales, had 53 -64 COUNTRIES represented. More toward 64 as it has been reported earlier. THAT is unprecedented. He is so good, the world goes to hear him perform live. In fact, he is at Super Star status with charisma all over the place along with screaming fans, and most of America is last to know. Are you in for a wonderful surprise.
