This! This is how a Redemption Arc should be done!! And I'm glad it didn't start out perfect either! Mason is nothing like Eric, but that doesn't mean he's innocent. Mason's apology cannot undo his mistakes, nor can it undo the damage he's inflicted, especially with Leah and Ella. It's going to take time for Mason to patch up what he's done. I'm very satisfied with the scene between Mason and Maxine! She's one of the few people in the village who understands Mason's situation and it shows!

I loved honour in these scenes, she was so badass. And I loved how she showed no fear and held herself together. I also loved the scenes between Maxine and Mason. Everyone involved in this storyline have done brilliantly.

HOLY MOTHER OF LORD YES HOUNOR! I’m so glad she finally gave it to Eric that worthless piece of trash got what he finally deserved I’m so proud of Honour she really did the right thing standing up for her Son like that. I really also loved that scene where Maxine was talking to her Half-Brother Mason what she said to him was so very sweet and true because she lied about having an illness but all in time everything worked and I’m glad she decided to give her Father Dave and her Mother Trish a second chance. Dave should now see what he needs to do and stop babying him for once and be a proper Father to Mason and the other Kids. I even didn’t know that with one punch it could make you bleed that was intense. I really hope Mason’ll get help soon I really feel sorry for him. 😔

Some professional psychologist Honour is. As a trained therapist she should know better than to let the client get under her skin. Therapy sessions are about the client not the therapist. While Eric definitely deserves much worse for what he has done, you would think a qualified counselor would know better how to deal with him. By her actions she reinforced to Eric what he thinks of women. As a mother, Honour also demonstrated inappropriate behaviour. As a parent you can stand up for your children and protect them without resorting to yelling, demanding and physical violence. Eric's smug countenance just got smugger.

Absolutely horrible when this lark happens where vulnerable kids are taken advantage of like this and made to do bad things but sadly it's something that happens in reality right across the board!! Also tbh I wish it would’ve been Warren or Tony who would’ve punched Eric considering he found out what he did to Maxine and Eric shooting his Wife Diane only Warren would’ve probably beaten him more than once and yet I’m not sure if Tony had ever beaten anyone at fist fight before in the village and I don’t think he would’ve also stood a chance against his Half-Brother Eric. Still I do think that Honour deserved a bit of action for once just like Misbah did with Ali. 😂

Mason did some horrible things, but he's still just a kid who can be brought back around with help and treatment. But that is gonna take some time and he has a big uphill battle to deal with in his redemption. What did Maxine do that was horrible enough that the whole village hated her?

okay the show should Tread very carefully it what it does next in regards to Honour assaulting Eric as if they either don't acknowledge it or worse applaud her for it then their kinda proving some of Eric's points for him about some of the privileges women have in society. so the show needs to make it clear that regardless of who it was directed at what she did was still wrong even tho he did deserve it.
