Ok. So this video got my in 😢 tears. Why...when I was a boy my daddy made me cut my yard and the old lady's yard next door to me. He said I am not going to pay you and neither will she. God will pay you for the rest of my life. Well both dad and the old lady are gone but when I was on Hospice care a few years ago about to pass away in my home I was so proud of.. I was awaken by the sounds of my neighbors cutting my grass. Every week this went on and to hear those mowers gave me strength to recover and comfort. The men in the subdivision cut my grass because they knew how much pride I took in my yard and it was the right thing to do as neighbors. At 50 yrs old my dads lesson came back to bless me over and over again and when I look back ( btw I healed to 100%) and that year I was down my family never needed one dollar and to this day we have never wanted for anything. New house, cars, healthy kids etc.. God continue to bless the guy that made this simple gesture the world appreciate appreciates your kindness! Thank you for reading

I love doing this for some of my elderly neighbors! It is oddly satisfying and it gives a person great joy to feel like you've been a blessing to someone. We had a neighbor who found herself widowed after nearly 60 years of marriage, her husband had taken care of the lawn up until he died but she was on a fixed income and couldn't afford a yard service. We saw her out one day trying to mow her nearly half acre lot with a rickety push mower that kept dying on her. My spouse and I walked over and told her not to worry--we would take care of her lawn from now on free of charge. We mowed her lawn for five years until she passed. The look of joy on her face was all the payment we needed. God bless you for doing this for your neighbor.

Good job sir . My husband Tony has just been diagnosed with a brain Tumour and he’s only 58 .I’m 64 . We love our home , we’ve just arrived home after diagnosis ( in Perth for 16 days ) and our back lawn needs mowing . ( not ride on ) I’m going to get onto it tomorrow . It’s heartwarming to know there’s people like you. I’m partially paralyzed, diabetic with a broken neck and back. My husband left me. I live in an HOA so I have to maintain my yard myself often. My neighbors watch me struggle and sweat in pain and no one offers any help. I admire your kindness. You will be blessed ten fold. Cheers to you. 🙏🏼

This video popped up in my recommended, glad it did. You're a good dude for helping someone out with such a chore. A few years ago, following an early retirement from law enforcement due to line of duty injury, I healed up, bought a new Grasshopper zero turn, straight shaft Stihl trimmer, and picked up a few yards to make some extra money, and I really enjoy mowing and take a lot of pride in my work, and a handful of times I had the opportunity to help someone and always did what I could. It's a great feeling! Then... divorce, had to sell mower and truck to cover attorneys fees, find myself renting a place, no mower, grass balls deep to an astronaut, and struggled to find someone I could PAY to mow it. Good times. Great video, great work. Thank you.

That was great! What a good neighbour. It is very frustrating to watch the grass grow when you can’t cut it yourself or afford to pay someone to do it. I have three acres that have not been mowed or worked for a couple of years and the forest has overtaken it. I used to have many rock pathways and flower beds that are now sadly overgrown. I enjoyed your act of kindness.

I love helping like this.. it is also ridiculously satisfying pushing a good mower through this kind of overgrowth. It sure takes a lot of back and forth, but the end result is amazing.

I've taught my grandson to walk the yard before mowing because you never know what could be there 7-10 days later.

Good for you! Stepping up to help a neighbor... not many will go the distance for their neighbor. My son and I cut for six years. Twice we cut an overgrown yard though they were not as tall as this. That is not easy as you'd think even with good BIG equipment. You sure made that yard look good.

When my husband was alive we had a lawn service business and we would cut the grass and blew it all in one direction. When the grass was accumulated to the side when we were through, we'd rake it up and dispose it. The yard looked so good without clumps of cut grass all over it. Customers loved it so much they had us coming back.

I cut 3 neighbors yards for 20 years before they all passed on. 80x200 lots. I did it for free (they insisted I take gas money, so I did) and loved every minute of it. The lawn looked great when you got done. I'm 75 now, but you've inspired me to go looking for some lawns to cut for the less fortunate. I'll bet the man was beaming when he saw what you had done!

I did the same thing for an elderly neighbor who was having some medical problems for a while. On one of my day off I waited until she had to go to one of her medical treatments and then my kids and I picked up her yard and then mowed and trimmed it as best we could but never told her who did it. It was a great lesson for my children on both being charitable and humble. One suggestion I would make that I have found to be very helpful and labor saving is to run the mower as close to the house and fences first, with the deflector tied up so it blows the clippings away from the house and fence as wide and far as it can, then do the trimming. That gives you less to trim and makes the trimming easier with less to trim and less trimmings to bog up your trimmer as you go along.

I can't help but think about all of that lovely green mulch going to waste. Shame that you can't vacuum it up and compost it. What a fantastic product you could sell.

It's great to be able to help out like that and even better when someone appreciates your help. I tried to help out my neighbor's when they were away on vacation, their grass was getting overgrown in the yard and it was obvious that nobody was there and I was worried someone would notice and try breaking into the house if they thought it was unoccupied. I went over and cut their grass for them , when they got back , they called my wife and asked if I had cut their grass and said they didn't want it cut again because they felt I was " encroaching on their property" .

A few years ago, my mother passed away. I flew up to help dad with everything. Noticed the yard needed some attention, told dad I would take care of it after we made the arrangements, came back from the funeral home to find several neighbors had groomed the yard while we were gone. My father was the one that always was there for others, the simple act of taking care of the yard brought him to tears. Had never seen him tear up before, clearly it wasn't the yard but the act of kindness that neighbors showed. You never know how even an act of kindness will help and effect others lives.

The grass turned out ok, in fact a very good before and after.
