I understand you breed your own ... a skill in its self .we have a breeder and dealer near where I live .hes excellent ive never heard a bad word @ him and such a great guy 👦. I nearly bought a blue and gold off him @ 2yrs ago .I also like militaries and double yellow heads. Fabulous interest but specialised.my father brought a blue front back from Argentina 🇦🇷 many years ago she was @ 80yrs when she died She only liked my 👨‍👩‍👧. Use training to improve predictability first. When you do repetitive training exercises on a regular basis you become more understandable to the parrot but the bird is also more predictable to you. Then extend the training method over to head scratches strictly as an exercise. And only after success with this can it go smoothly as a casual encounter.

Leave them alone. In a few more days they will finish growing, become flaky, and be ready to be opened.

@@Featheryfaith7 Broken blood feathers need to be removed, especially if the feather in question is a large one like a flight or tail feather, as the blood loss can be life threatening. I highly recommend a vet to do this for you.
