again I try to find again a wild hedgehog under the olive trees ,so after an hour to searching a wild I find it a black faster running black hedgehog, so I check his body and twiss out the parasite ticks in her,so thank you so for watching my friends .

@@locabynature I've never paid much attention to em at all, until recently, until I came across this channel actually. Their legs seem to pop outta nowhere and they take off running. It's just so dern cute, cracks me up every time 🤣 I saw that they can be snappy too. I wouldn't want to be bitten by one 😬🌞

i love doing this for my local hedgehogs. I film them too. Only problem I have, is when they have the ticks on their heads or belly. getting the spikey things to open up is extremely difficult 🥺

Is that a correct way to remove ticks? I don't know about ticks in other coutries, but in mine, you have to carefully remove it, so the head does not stay in the body of the prey, because it can also cause problems. This looks like a good way to leave the head in the flesh of its victim.

Ok, I'm no expert but shouldn't you never twist the tick. This way the mouth part is easily left in the skin.

Incorrect. Twisting is arguably the best method because it is *less* likely to leave behind mouth parts. The trick is to do it without squeezing it, which can push contaminated blood back into the animal. They have dedicated tools that twist by grabbing right near where the tick is connected to the skin. Which is the best way.

I was all ways taught to remove the heads of the tick so It dosen't fester in the skin once the body is removed .

Hello friend, please pull the tick off the correct way or the head of ticks will go in body. Second, don’t forget the small ticks as they grow big later. I hope you do it right by looking at the correct tutorial videos.
