She was so happy she ran off loool. Cool kid probably first time some one bought that many tickets also the guy looked like he was making sure she didn’t get rolled so nice touch giving him some tickets
I am worried for her safety and imagine Vietnam must be a very safe country. I can't imagine any parents sending a ten year-old girl alone into a busy street like downtown LA past 10 P.M. to sell anything. Thank you, Vu and Troy!
@@EatTravelSteve Those Sapa kids are specifically put there to sell stuff by their parents, because they knew that domestic or foreign tourists will both feel bad and buy stuff from those kids. Those family are not doing badly at all. The government issued warnings to not buy from those kids, because as long as they still make money, their parents will not let them go to school.
Cute kid, seems smart. Bring Nhi & Bot with you next time so she feels more secure (if you see her again) and invite her and the parents to Pho. I feel like a new character might be joining us. :-)
I know she didn’t vocally say “Thank You!” But she seemed so so happy and almost shocked that you did that and she could go home! I think she is thankful but a bit in awe of what happened so that she just didn’t know what to say! 👍🥳 Great job Mr Troy!!! 🌷👍
Yh I do think the camera spooked her but I liked her attitude she seemed street smart and a happy kid plus she had all that money so maybe she thought I better run home anyways hopefully u run into her again and get info about her situation
Hey Troy, I hope you got some rest! Young girl was wary, but smart. Girl asked you to pull in so you don't run off. I thought the guy staring at you was the father, if not maybe wait for deal to end to rob you, sketchy! I would have said something like are you staring at me, mind your business, f... off. Girl made the deal got out of there, but thankful. Thanks to Vu, and Trpy
I grew up in the 80s, at ten my mom made me sell candy door to door for this shady company her friend worked for. I had to work every day after school from 4pm to 9pm and every Sat and Sunday from 8am until 9pm. all the money I made my mom took to buy beer, smokes, and drugs. If I refused to go I'd get the crap beat out of me. I turned 10 in 1982 and I brought home around 40.00 M-F and made around 250 every Saturday and Sunday. At 13 she got me a job working for DunknDonuts after school from 5pm until 11pm during the week and 1pm to 9 every Saturday and Sunday. I was paid under the table "not to break child labor laws" well my mom was paid for my work. I never knew what my mom did was wrong and illegal until I was 16 and my teachers found out what my mom was doing
@@Bear4196 It wouldn't have been so bad If my mom was working too. But she sat home drinking and doing drugs while My two sisters, brother, and I sold candy door to door. Plus had to go to school so she kept getting welfare. My mom was making almost 2k a week off us plus got welfare and you know my Mom didn't pay taxes on that :/ At ten no kid should be forced to work. I supported laws making it illegal for kids 14 and under to work even for parents. At that age, kids should be going to school and playing. at 15 I'm fine with kids working
@@akoww1000 *I started at 10, but only because my parents were poor. But they never kept me from school. They wanted better for my siblings and me. I was very fortunate.*
When she went home her parents must have fallen off their seat when they seen all that money lol. Im sure she was happy. Probably the most amount of money she has ever seen i bet.
Nice of you...coming through again...I will say don’t do transactions in front of adults ...they might think of you as a bank and bad things can happen
How many times does an adult male talk to a 10 year old girl they don't know on the street late at night without evil intent. Especially asking where her parents were, how old she was, etc. Running away is what I'd advise any kid in the situation you just put her in. Maybe you should start with you have donors who want to help out kids instead of ending with that. You probably scared the heck out of her. She probably thought you were a kidnapper. In general a smart kid. lol
That man and woman sweeping nearby was keeping an eye 👀 on you lol...they probably thought it was kinda shady having a grown up guy talking to a young girl on the street lol
can you explain how this whole ticket thing works...I've always wondered what profit there is in this and what does a winner actually win .. its sorta like a gambling thing??? great kid yes, its sad she out there all by herself..
Each ticket is 10k Vietnamese money , the seller gets to keep 1500 ... since Vietnam has outlaw begging on the streets , this is a way for poor Vietnamese ppl to make a living. Basically it’s lottery tickets instead of getting the ticket from a machine u buy it from ppl on the streets .
It depends on how many numbers from your ticket that matches the winning numbers , matching 2 numbers will be 100k 3 numbers will be 200k and so forth. The grand price is 2 billion vietnamese dong which is about 87k USD
this loterry tickets must have ticket agent right.????? why you buy it ???? you want to help this sweet kid.if you Doing like this you only help ticket loterry agent.how much precent this kid will get on 1 loterry tickets.
Confusion say: One who buys lottery, may ironically have already won the lottery; in being in such a position to do so (ask the seller ;) ... am I rice?
You know Troy i looked at the video again, and i don't think she was 10 at all. I watch the guy come in to intimidate you a little. The girl was baiting in school dress to get guys to buy! Little talk as not to give away age, then bolt. Yeah! that was a set up. Yeah pull in we got you if we want. your camera may have made them think twice. Be more careful Troy
She's probably freaking out because some random dude with questionable Vietnamese is buying all her lottery tickets. Stranger danger may not be correct every time but better safe than sorry lol.
You kept counting the tickets and she was telling you all her tickets don’t come close to $2 million...basically telling you you’re wasting your time counting...lol
