Nikki, you are correct! Chance, who was the first singer, came up with the concept and directed this video. Tim, the bass, did the arrangement. The original song was done slowly also, for effect. I don't know if you've heard the original version by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, but it's worth a listen. Hard to choose one over the other. Both are good for different reasons.
I'm old enough CSN when they put out "Helplessly Hoping". The original pace for the song is as Home Free sang it. Home Free did a much better job with the song than CSN did.
