The Analogues perform 'Helter Skelter' by The Beatles during an integral rendition of The Beatles' White Album at the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool, August 24th, 2018. Featuring vocalist Merijn van Haren.
Clicking on this video I was curious about who would have sung that incredibile song, not surprised when I figured out that they asked an "external" singer to do the job. Helter Skelter is a very VERY high song for the standard singer's vocal range. This version is perfect guys, thanks.
Another absolutely ageless (outside it's time) song that's 100% amazingly reproduced here. Could use a little more "edge"...but damn does it sound good.
They could've quoted U2 from a couple of decades ago: "Charlie Manson took this song away from the people. We're giving it back." Methinks Analog did a better job of "giving it back."
THEY F_CKIN NAILED, props to the singer, that is a tough song to sing, on a side note, lets not forget that The Beatles were IN THEIR 20s when they changed the culture FOREVER !!!!
