What really makes this so awesome is you can tell how much fun Paul had recording this. He's chuckling to himself the whole time about making a wild, heavy song about a damn tornado slide. He knows how absurd the whole thing is and is cracking up. I love it.
The song would have been amazing on it's own, but, in classic Beatles fashion, they went above and beyond by adding their trademark harmonies over their heaviest song, and it's bloody brilliant.
Something similar happened to me, i heard that Motley Crue made a version so I thought oooh "their version must be better" ,,, i still can not believe Motley Crue made a a very poor version, yeah specially the Vocals
2:07 “But don’t let me BREEEAAAK YOOOUU!!” That’s probably the most gorgeous hard rock vocal tone I’ve ever heard. I’d kill for a whole album of Paul singing like this, lol.
I love how this is a duet between two Paul McCartneys. One he sings it rough. the other (with help from his friends) where he reaches the E above high C in a very clear, but still shouty head voice.
What do you hear at 2:56? I hear "Ok, come in son. I'll show you...get your bloody ass in here, come on" I don't have good ears so I'm probably way off. I love finding these interesting bits of studio talk.
I've alwasy wondered what he said near the end. On the isolated vocal I can tell he is using his Elvis voice but I can't make out what he is saying. Any Guess's?
@@joseh.749 lol being able to sing doesn't mean shit. Beethoven and Mozart were two of the creators of music theory, and far, far better musicians. they would fucking destroy Paul McCartney.
