Helvellyn from Wythburn church car park 

Well here we are still in the lovely Cumbria and the lake district this time we are climbing the wonderful Helvellyn, one which has been on my bucket list to climb, there are a few options to get to the top but today i chose a simple one so we started from a little car park just off the A591 called the Wythburn church car park one of the trusts little car parks, i chose this one as i haven't done it before and neither has Jayne and if we had climbed it from one of the difficult ones we might have been in difficulty , so to be careful ee chose this one ( i plan on going back and climbing it from striding edge at some point ) this does men another visit up here but I'm not complaining because there's lots more walks on my list for up here, the views today was stunning it was the perfect walking day to be honest
so i hope you enjoy my first walk up Helvellyn and the views as well, the walk is a constant climb walking up a well established path to the summit so anyone who's not too sure this is a good path up and apparently according to the locals a path that's walked alot
