On a rather windy day, Preserved BR Deltic 55 022 Royal Scots Grey is seen on a railtour to/from Penzance roaring over Hemerdon Bank on the return leg of its' trip.
I'm glad you did!! This is a great video!! I forgot to charge my battery for my camera so missed out!! The car park at Newton station is a good place to be though, and only 10 feet away from the tracks!! You get a nice view of them coming under the bridge and flying through the station!!
Thanks, glad you like it! Somewhere in my video archieve I have some footage of the King (on the Torbay Express I think) hammering through NA, that I took from the Carpark - will have to dig it out one day and upload that too.
theres nothing better than this the kings of diesel pulling 13 carriges at about 20 to 30 miles an hour hearing those napiers growling away, just show you the fan club out there for this loco well done rsg
I would have loved to have seen it in the morning, unfortunately work got in the way and I couldn't get the time off. I very nearly didn't bother going to see it, but I'm glad I did!
