This video is the newest Covid-19 version of the behind the wheel Drive Test given at the DMV in Hemet California. This latest test is significantly shorter than the standard Behind the Wheel test.
I failed 2 times in Temecula and finally decided on coming to Hemet after tons of recommendations and for me it was a blessing the instructor I had was a cool dude and made me feel really comfortable. I’ll admit I almost started crying when he passed me I couldn’t believe it lolol
@@carolinabenitez7925 the guy I went with had me do I completely different route to this one still had me go in some similar locations but was very different
@@sophiat.2283 I probably would have to draw you a map lol. The route I took had similar locations in the video but was mostly different I mean the guy I was with had me go through some random neighborhood. Then had me do the backing up in a location shown in the video.
congratulations !! i’m gonna be taking my test soon and literally everyone has told me not to go to temecula because their test is very difficult so i will definitely be going to hemet 😊
I took mine in hemet couple days ago this month after failing in banning ,Feb 2022 and I passed The instructors were super cool Everyone that was there that day that I saw passed too Would definitely recommend 👌
i've been watching this video a few days before my test. i took my test today.. and i passed!! even though the route was a bit different, this still helped 😊
I failed because the lady said I was slow even though, I was going the speed limit, like bruh wtf. She probably only failed me since she was doing all the drivers test there and just wanted to be done, and she slammed the door after I parked like calm down, you don’t have to take your anger out on me
@@Luna-ss1kp So I would say that this route is 70% the same it's just that we took like 3 different turns and I entered the DMV on the other side of the road from this video, it was only like 8 minutes
@@mariagarcia-qj3yz depends on the instructor tbh. The first time I got a girl and I did not pass for going to slow. Second time I got a guy and I passed and it was a different route
@@anthonya9140 in the state of California you are not required to parallel park. However they will have you pull up to a curb, and back up straight for three car lengths within 3 feet of the curb
@@mikaelagabrielle9910 no, so at the very start we didnt go straight, we turned left and went through the parking lot. Then we turned right on that stupid curb so watch out for that. We made a couple of similar turns as the video but it was different. Also in my test, we backed up along the curb unlike the test in the video.
Passed my test! So the tester took me to the exit of the dmv and we turned right on state street and at the light we turned right onto Stetson avenue. Then we went straight and turned right at 2:33 . Right there we did the curb and backing up portion. The rest of the video is basically the route except where she is on 5:28 you take a left on that street and go back on Thornton and head back to the dmv
@@elenibarragan4629 do u think you can write the exact directions down and reply to me plzzz. I am very paranoid and i want to know exactly where i am going
@@katleengeeal4052 turn right out of the dmv onto state street, you turn right on Stetson avenue, you turn right at Buena Vista street and that is the backup test area. Then turn right on Thornton avenue and keep going straight till you get to palm avenue and turn right then you go left into Onyx avenue and then you head back on Thornton avenue by turning left and you go towards the light and turn left on state street and head back into dmv
I already had a real ID on my drivers license, since my license expired I paid $37,- to renew my license, DMV removed my real ID sign of my class C license, and mailed me a regular class C license, so I to visite DMV in person they charged me another $30,- to switch back my original drivers license with real ID sign on it , this is a real fraud, and new ways to rippingoff seniors in California ??
Hi there! When I took mine in December it was different. I think it just depends on the tester you get. For me, the route I took was pretty easy. I came out of the DMV and made a right on State, another right on Stetson, and another right on Buena Vista. Now for me, that's the street the guy had me do the backup portion of the test. After I did that we continued on Buena Vista then made another right on Thornton and then a right back on to State and right back into the DMV. It went by really fast. Please feel free to ask me any more questions if you'd like 😊
@@judith5434 I made sure that I turned out a little wide but not too far where I was going into the other lane. Sometimes if you turn too short you can hit the curb. I hope that helps.
@@judith5434 The only time I had to change lanes was after I turned right on Stetson since it turns into one lane but other than that the guy never had me change lanes.
I went on the 18th in Inglewood, California, and I did not do the backing part of the test. I was ready to do it because I'm good at it but it never happened.. I passed
With Covid, it’s been mostly been dropped but it is up to the examiner. Based on comments on this and other videos, about 1 in 5 people have had to do the curb and reverse.
@@animetiddies3424 That's awesome you only had one error! 👏👏 Yes I have my test next week and I'm so nervous. Yes if you can, can you please share the route if you remember?
