Thanks for the message. The rest of the hemostasis videos are coming, but I took a 2 week break over the holidays, and am going to post a few non-hemostasis videos in early Jan, so subscribers who aren't interested in hemostasis don't get too bored. But they are coming over the next couple of weeks to months.

At 7:23, what activated the factor V? II thought trhombin activates it but at this point of the initiation phase there isn't activated thrombin?

Please make a video about interactions amid factor XII, prekallikrein, and HMW-kininogen!. I think it is not such a useless pathway. For example, this pathway is related to the formation of bradykinin, a remarkable molecule related to inflammation. Furthermore, this pathway is also associated with the creation of polyanions from ATP. These polyanions also seem to be linked to the immune system. It would also be a delightful video about the molecular mechanism of HIT (heparin-induced thrombocytopenia). Once more time, very thankful for this handy video!

Why is vitamin K being discussed after fibrinolysis? Without relevant factor gammacarboxylation, there won't even be a clot to breakdown. 🤦🏻‍♂️

You may have mentioned this, but what allows for the coagulation cascade to initially prevail over the antithrombitic? Is it just based on the magnitude of TF present after endothelial damage?

Excellent video! However, I missed more animations, as in the previous video of this magnificent series about hemostasis. Instead of just indicate the name of molecules in a scheme, it would be much more interesting showing them in the form of geometric figures. Despite that, the video was very helpful!

This was very helpful. If you pause it and memorize things for a few minutes in between slides, slides will build on each other enough to understand and remember the material. I spent an hour on this video and feel that I can remember most of the material.

Dr. Eric, your videos are superb! May I ask 1 question? How does platelet aggregation and coagulation cascade rely on each other as you stated in 18:21 ? I know thrombin could activate platelet as you stated in Lesson 2 9:08, but how could platelet aggregation influence coagulation cascade? Thank you.

Oh I found the answer in Lesson 2, platelet will secret factor V when activated. So excited to find these videos interlinked. Thank you.
