This is a very good and useful plant, I'm very sad it became so hated in people's minds. Very comfortable to wear in the summer, very sturdy to make ropes with, and God it seems so easy to grow, - could ease the production of clothes so much... Thank you for this video!
@@dyaaong6030 sadly some people are catching up with hate too... even in this videos comments there are couple people like that :/ but you're right, yes.
Being a crocheter, I've been toying with the idea of growing hemp so that i can make yarn from plant fibers. I would like to draw more people away from plastic based yarn and towards natural plant fibers. Do you have any resources you can recommend on learning how to grow hemp and where it thrives the best? Love this episode of Spicy Moustache!
It would be great if more clothes were made from hemp.. Less wool off the sheep's back and more ethical than the cotton farms of China. Let's hope in the next 10 year's we can make a change.
Absolute shame more crops of hemp are not grown . One of the most beneficial and most diverse plants to.use in many ways . I bought a shirt back in about 1995 made from hemp and it was so comfortable . Great content as always , keep up the great work and thankyou .
British Sugar is the world's biggest producer and exporter of medicinal cannabis, yet cannabis is illegal in the UK. The hypocrisy of the British establishment is astounding.
Fun fact medical cannabis has been legal in the UK since 2018. You just have to go private but its a massive step, arguably the biggest before proper legalization. Luckily for us when we do legalise it we wont have to jump through as many hoops as our government isnt split up over states like the US is, plus there are lots of underground coffee shops around in the main cities nowadays and clearnet sites that are opnely selling cannabis so we are, all beit slowly, moving forward.
@@HolyFreakinDragonSlayer nope, I pay £55 per 10gs, and my monthly is set to the default amount which is 30g, 2g over an ounce which is anywhere between 140- 200 an Oz. The max you pay on the 10g becomes like £80 which is still fairly on par with street prices, if we're going on a Q being £50. Two years ago I would of agreed with you but nowadays the medical market in the UK is starting to move into a much better space.
It’s amazing for people (cbd) and using it as a paper substitute. For what it takes to grow hemp maybe six months it takes 15 years to use trees. Hemp is amazing! Ropes, fabric, seeds for food, cbd for pain management hemp is a wonderful plant.
Hi Alessandro, your content has been so inspiring to me, I've started my own little veg plot to grow some basics I still can, thanks to you! I would love to see a video about your experiences with early stages of gardening and things you had to learn (the hard way or not). I'm realising that gardening really comes with lots of ups and downs until you learn what works for you and your garden. Many thanks! 🌱🌻
Got a license for Hemp in Uganda, whoever wants to come over and help change the world, let's do it.. I believe it's the last stand for humanity against the big banksters to gain freedom... I love this channel..I live exactly like Mr.Spicy out here in the country side with my young family ..Thank you for working so hard to get this message out..We will always keep at it
I have recently discovered your channel and am so inspired! I did a foraging day with Justine last year, she's unbelievably knowledgable about the earth around us and is just amazing. I could listen to you both talk for hrs. What a lovely surprise watching this video! Keep up the great content! ❤️
It’s so disgusting how heavily controlled it is for hemp farming in general. The amazing things you can produce with the seeds and fibers alone, and the government saying they care about the people after such large regulations is just a joke. I love this video
Hi. I have been following you for longest time. I am a awful pensioner. I absolutely love how you have inspired me. I just need a bit slower delivery. Instead of watching you 10 times. Lots of positive energy. Keep going.
CBD is awesome for pain in my wrist.. I’m lucky to live in California where I can grow my own cannabis or hemp… love your content, I always learn new ways to grow and cook food thank you🙏
I'd love to grow hemp even just to experiment growing something new. I'm not a farmer but I just love growing vegetables, plants etc at home and learning about nature and wildlife. I'm an artist and use hemp string for tying around my prints in their packages and for so many other things. Here in Ireland it's very much the same with regulations and limitations. I'd have to be a farmer and apply for a license but here you can apply anytime throughout the year. There's just so much ignorance surrounding this plant and unwillingness to learn
I'm genuinely excited happy excited that you people are doing what your doing I don't know use but I'm proud of both of you for doing what your doing 🙏✌🏴✌
Hemp is so useful as a material that it threatened multiple cash industries since not one part of the plant is useless and it basically requires little to nothing to grow. It often performs way better than cotton and linen meaning textiles made from it lasted a lot longer, you can make very durable high quality paper from it, you can extract oil from the plant and its seeds to make fuel, it can be used to feed livestock, it can be incorporated into building material, its been used for millinia as herbal medicine. because of how useful hemp was, it had extreme potential of overtaking entire conglomerates such as the textile, paper, wood, and even oil industry, which lead to it being banned, limiting innovation in this sector for centuries, It unjustly gained infamy during the war on drugs but though the hipster movement before that was able to lift it back into the limelight and just now we are discovering all sorts of new ways to use it!
I've had hemp cloths, pants, shirts even socks but when I first saw the field my eye's popped out of my head,I've only seen fields like that on videos and In certain places hidden up in the hills up in Eden in Australia, I realy like these videos showing how to reduce waste and use everything and more so is the lifestyle.ive subscribed and liked and shared because it's realy fascinating lurning things that I never thought I'd ever be interested in
Great video bud. I really enjoyed the content too, Hemp has a lot of potential as an edible fiber crop, plus the other varieties in medicine and recreation. One of my goals is to get Eaddyacres pretty enough to warrant a visit.
If everyone who loves this plant grew 1 each they wouldn't be able to prosecute everyone..I'm personally against the "medical" givernment w33d as I don't trust givernment at all!
@2:28 not just medical reasons they dont want it grown its also a great strong building material. Its also all over the world they dont want it because its so resilient.
As much as I love hemp for its versatility, bamboo is equally versatile. One South American chusquea species is even being explored as a possible cancer cure.
Absolutely beautiful cinematography! Your story is awesome, I owe my life to the cannabis plant I had Leukaemia age 17 the treatment is 3.5 years of oral chemo and I would have wasted away if not for its appetite stimulating properties during the first 9 months it was the only thing that could make me eat. its now 15 years later it never returned and I'm strong and happy and healthy thank you Mother Gaia for this sacred herb and thank you for sharing your story and making this video and reminding me how special and lucky i was to survive and for my own relationship with the sacred herb love and light my friend!❤️✨️🥹
Very insightful video. I'm getting to know the difference between these medical plants because they are really stigmatised and can get one in trouble in many countries of the world. I've heard hemp can help with healthy hair growth.
UK needs to wake up to 2023, hemp or cannabis it should be legal. Once you take the hype away from it, both plants are highly profitable and sustainable.
