Love hearing Mourinho's insights on the game, he is miles and miles ahead of any pundit in terms of the way he understands the game. His man management style may be slightly outdated but nobody can argue with his football knowledge, absolute genius.
He did the last world cup as comentator in a portuguese channel and the fans loved it. You wont listen to the usual pundit cliches and he likes to explain things in a simple way for those who dont know much about football. It was a breath of fresh air. It made watching the game even more enjoyable
Except its total bullshit..Jose would never put that team out, he never lines up small like that and no real power or pace in that side...he's picked that team now because he knows it's fashionable and would endear him to listeners.
@@a6supercharged732 International football isn't about pace, it's about working your way up the pitch, not bombing down the wings and whipping a cross in like the PL.
Great point by Jose about the national team adopting the dominant philosophy of the league from where the majority of the players play. It has been repeatedly said that England should play to their strengths, and play with the same sort of intensity that the Premier League has, but most likely because of their various managers egos, and or incompetence, that hasn't happened more often than not. Also a great point about how Lampard deserves credit for bringing through Mount, beginning at Derby, and then at Chelsea.
yes that is what they do in rugby I am not sure if you follow rugby but in rugby the especially in SA and NZ the national team coach instructs the union of how he would like them to play of course it may not be specific but there is a resemblance to it
That would be a fair enough comment if the Premier League was intense anymore. But its not. The main thing that pisses me off about it these days is just that, no tackles, no aggression. Mourinho talking like its 20 years ago.
@@10003159 mate you wouldn't last a day in Mourinho's shoes. There's a reason so few managers in the history of football have won as many trophies as he has and that's because its not easy to do. Yes he's fallen off since joining United but he achieved more in the first half of his managerial career than trolls like you achieve in your entire lives. So in the words of Mourinho: have some RESPECT.
@@Anonymous-xr8hx he's too arrogant for how trash he is nowadays. he needs to be more humble. Guys like pep, Klopp, conte, are the premier managers nowadays. The former two have never been sacked period and clearly know how to handle whatever team they're in.
I'm a Man City fan from Manchester and I have no allegiance towards Jose. However I absolutely love the Man, his personality, his football knowledge and brain, and his all around charisma and ability to tell stories etc....An amazing Raconteur. This Man deserves our respect, he's earned it over, and over. Maybe now as he's ageing, he may not be quite where he was, but he's still a genius IMO....
Jose knows it all he was the special one but now I call him the sacked one clever guy why hang around create a bad smell and get compensated for the stink
@@larnx1692 they are, and that's Englands problem, players get treated and called top players before they even get there, people need to stop being so easily convinced, make them earn the respect what Thomas Muller said was right it's a team full of individuals looking for stats instead of a team wanting to win the cup
@@bb5979 I agree. I can go through the squad and a bunch of them are already constantly being compared to some of the best players of all time. Foden to Messi, grealish to figo and gazza, bellingham to viera (I’ve literally seen all of these comparisons on this channel in the last week). Like calm down a bit and let them all play and win something as a group before getting so carried away.
Rashford is not a great player but his politics off the pitch means that kind of gets overlooked. I love Rashford as a person and what he's done is amazing but he's just not consistent enough
@@Ps3Aaron1 football about skill and brains.Problem is too many Saps in English football scouting not for talent but just whose tall !,,which is Pathetic
Pickford is what I call a championship goalkeeper. He makes great acrobatic dives for blocks or saves, but unfortunately the ball has already sailed passed him.
That’s exactly the team I’d like to see, Grealish Mount and Foden is an exciting prospect and even more so with Bellingham alongside Rice! Fortune favours the brave, get them all on the pitch!
@@adamtench4447 As someone who is not a fan of England. That front 4 would be scary and would be so dynamic. Key word is characters. Not the biggest Foden fan but he is class on the ball. Grealish to attack behind when Kane drops deap and Mount to get into open spaces and make great decisions.
Far more entertaining to listen to an intelligent, articulate football expert pointing out things I havnt thought of and articulating things clearly. Rather than some ex player ranting about a player or manager he doesn't like and just saying whatever is controversial and provocative.
@@chelseatv9880 just like ole with man united. No chance of winning epl and champions league. He has a chance to win the lesser europa league but he fluffled it with his inept tactics and subs.
@@louislim2004 agreed people & it shouldn't be so...England have so many world class talents. Tactics and decisions ruined 2018. Risks must be taken & I doubt Southgate a risk man
To be honest I wish they could win something I don't wear a England shirt I used to but it reminds me of what a pathetic team we are it could all be different 8f they had a real manager to sort them out Southgate is useless not gonna hurry any time soon to watch them
If you can’t win trophies with Jose as your manager there is a serious problem with your club …. Spurs let a gem go. Could have done something big with Jose
The puzzling part is when they could possibly win a trophy, they sacked him a week before the final and put's in an inexperienced manager to take charge of the club. Definitely the dumbest decision ever.
Don't think either Pickford or Henderson have covered themselves in glory. Pickford is better on the ball though, so I'd probably start him. Henderson had a chance to really make a claim at both United and England back end of the season and didn't really step up
Henderson is an actually very matured goalkeeper. Pope, Butland and Henderson... these are the actual great goalkeepers England has had recently. Butland had huge potential.
@@hen5555 Of course Chilweel won the UCL, but how does that make him a better LB? So is Timo Werner a better striker than Cavani? And is Kai Havertz a better player than Bruno Fernandes? United did finish 2nd in the league, and Shaw was arguably their 2nd best player. Chillwell was swapped in and out with Alonso for a while.
@@adithyapradeep2506 Chilwell may or may not be better than Shaw and Timo Werner is definitely not better than Cavani. But how on Earth are you comparing Havertz and Fernandes. Havertz shows up in big matches, Bruno disappears in big matches. Havertz is 5 years younger than him and is still developing, whereas the penalty merchant has entered his prime.
@@Hammerschool go Google the word "bitter" and come back here... Lmao. There isn't one thing Everton or Pickford have which a team like Liverpool look at and be bitter about... We see Everton as a championship side punching above their weight every year 😂
He literally played Milito and won treble ,why he wouldnt play this team he says ??? He knows what it takes for everi minute and every position and every opponent...Genius...
Just as Mourinho joined, you can sense the intelligence he has and portrays compared to the likes of Jason Cundy, Andy Goldstein and likes of them. That’s the difference between a tactical mind and a mouth piece.
England's best 11 in regards to talent and ability would be - Pickford, James, Stones, Maguire, Chilwell, Rice, Bellingham, Mount, Foden, Greaish, Kane. It's hard to leave out Sancho, Rashford and Alexander-Arnold but it only shows what great strength in depth we have now.
@@Garn17 Actually Chilwell is very good in the air bcoz he is taller than Shaw. He wins headers from corners and even almost scored in fa cup final with his head. Also has more goals and assists than Shaw. I'm a Chelsea fan and I've never seen him make a mistake that leads to a goal
Jose thinks Henderson will be an elite keeper and he saw him up close so I’d say that’s a pretty good feather in Henderson’s cap. And if you are judging keepers from one off games we’d be here all day with Pickford
Honestly I hate how some of Chelsea fans and some other guys are not giving frank credit for what he has done. The guy built the foundation of the team. Tuchel also did something brilliant to pick of from where he left off. In summary without frank we won’t be the Chelsea we are today.
It's well annoying because I agree with his front 4 but I think it lacks too much speed and won't work. You need a Sterling/Sancho/Rashford but none of them are currently as good as the other 4
Agreed, One runner must be included. Rashford Kane Mount Grealish Rice Foden Chilwell Mings Stones Walker. England are ultimately weak at the back and thats where they’ll be exposed
Jose should start a RU-vid channel named "The Special One".. analysing games pre Match and post Match.. He could make a whole lot of money through it since his analysis, tactics always makes sense with us than with the players around him when he is the boss.
If you are a serial winner many will admire you while many are cautious or jealous! He has followed a path of real football like his mentor, Bobby Robson, full of dreams, education, passion, history and craft! As a manager I will always go with a manager with his heart on his sleeve and an education made on the pitch in 4 countries!!!!
Nice to hear from Jose he is special one. England Manager next, maybe? If England want to have trophy i think Jose is the right man in the right place!⚽🏆
Aldi Aquila Actually he is very good in the air. He wins headers from corners and even almost scored in fa cup final with his head. Also has more goals and assists than Shaw. I'm a Chelsea fan and I've never seen him make a mistake that leads to a goal
@@Airyed Chilwell was shinning from the first day he put on a Chelsea shirt. his first game he gave Giroud an assist and scored in like his fourth game. Also involved in goal vs city in the final. You choose players on form when going to a tournament like the Euros and Chilwell is in better form than Shaw. Shaw didn't show up when united lost to Villarreal 🤔
Mourinho doesn't hate Shaw, all these Man U players were the ones who bad mouthed Mourinho after he was sacked, but what have they won since, nil. You fans on here seem to forget who Mourinho has managed in the past and what Mourinho has won. It's 3 years since Mourinho left man u and Shaw has only played well this season, so what about the 2 years before with Ole and still not won anything. Mourinho doesn't need to hate shaw just look at what he has won.
