Heng Long - M1A2 Abrams 1/16 Scale RC Main Battle Tank Unboxing 

It's a great tank, but as of late, I have been eying a M41 Walker Bulldog.

I like more the T90

The sound of the engine is wrong

I've seen those mud / water videos and it would be cool. You'ed have to seal up the "tub" and axles that pass through.

@@seemoretoys5944 I thought so bc I think they are FOS meaning Full of Shite bc I asked all of them and not one would respond and one said oh you have to get the steel gears to do that and I thought that makes no sense bc you would have to seal up the battery and just about everything..Thanks for responding and I gave you a sub and Im a drone guy so hope we can talk more my friend!! If the front lights are blinking and won't stop blinking, you are not paired to the controller for some reason (Batteries, etc.) If the front LED lights don't come on you most likely have a loose connection or broken wire / switch.

@@That_Gaming_Panda Turn on the controller's switch and then turn on the tank's switch. The tank's LEDs will at 1st will blink but will then stay on when paired. Happens automatically. There are some good tank forums online that may have more information for you.

Mostly assembled. You have to put on the accessories and the decals but is pretty easy except for the decals.

All heng long tanks are assembled

It came with a very small tube that goes in a hole in the rear of the tank. Is slow to fill without making a mess.

I see to holes but how much do I put in without flooding it

That's they way it comes. There are upgraded control / sound boards to correct the sound, among may other things to upgrade, for $$$. Thanks for watching and your comment!

I've set the supplied target about 15 feet away and can hit it and knock it over. Shoots pretty good.

It shoot 6mm plastic BBs which is the same as AirSoft ammo.

I bought this "plain Jane" model on sale for $120 or so. The more metal, as in gears, tracks, bearings, etc. cost more $$$. $350 is about the highest I have seen. Shop around for the best deal.

@@seemoretoys5944 Tamiya are expensive, but I have had my two TIGER TANKS for nearly 25 years and still run as new.

Banggood.com has the best prices. I found a very good deal straight from Heng Long through Amazon. Also check EBay. Prices also more for upgrades sold on tank. Mine is bare bones stock.

You can find them online at around $250 depending of the installed accessories.

The tank has a small smoke generator located inside the tank. You fill it with smoke fluid. Works that same as model trains. Or their is a mini diesel engine inside but it should really be a jet turbine.

Kavonn Thomas, thanks for watching and your comment!. The tank is rather nicely made and has good detail. The best model to go with has the metal gear boxes and metal tracks. There are also lots of upgrades if you would like to improve it. But for the cost it ($115 US) was a very good deal.

It has a heavy feel to it and runs very good on cut grass, gravel and pavement. Check out my tank verses the dog video for running shots. I have read that the plastic gears and tracks will wear out and jump (has not yet), which is why I will up grade to metal gears and tracks sometime in the future. Also, it really shoots the 6 mm plastic BB's very fast out the barrel. The sound is of a diesel engine but the M1A2 is turbine powered. You can purchase an upgraded and correct control board with the correct sound.

It is what it is. Upgrades are always available, for a price...

They are a good basis for modding, own paint scheme, weathering, recoil, sound. Use the small re-cordable sound boards and add your own sounds. I think they are great for the price.
