Watch as I give my opinion on how Kirkland (Costco) XO cognac holds up against the big boys. RU-vid Intro Music Artist: K1TCHEN-music / k1tchenmusic Track: TechNO / techno
I don't own Martell XO. I personally tried it and it didn't suit me, so I never bought a bottle. It was too spice forward for me. Some people really enjoy it, but I wouldn't put it on the top of my list.
@@DarkmanzDecantz just asking, I'm about to spring for a bottle of xo and I'm kinda stuck as to which one to purchase. Leaning towards Hennessy but then I seen your video about the courvosier but I hear the Martell xo is extremely smooth?
@@bigtylo1 I don't think you can go wrong with Hennessy or Courvoisier xo. I think Martell might not be up everyone's alley. Like I said depends on your palate, if you like spice then you might enjoy it.
Martell XO is hands down the best XO, their process of removing the leaves in the distillation mash does it! I will agree that it is “Spice Forward” but it a remarkable taste for a “Big Four” Cognac . We do know that there can be added sugar, Carmel coloring and Boise’ when dealing with the Big Four.
Buy a membership, cheap ass. You’ll more than make up for the cost on the amount of money you save on gas alone. By the way, I don’t know what Costco you go to but I just saw that bottle $45 today.
I’ve had the Rémy, Henny and Courvoisier. I like them all haha, the Courvoisier and Hennessy are the easiest to finish 😅 I finished the Hennessy with a friend in 3 hours...
Pour the Kirkland XO into your Hennessy XO bottle and 99% of guests would never know. Just don't be a scumbag and try to sell the bottle as if it's authentic.
Not exactly apples-to-apples Kirkland comparison. The taste profile mellows/changes as it oxidizes over time. Interested in a re-battle when near the end of the Kirkland bottle.
How would you compare the Kirkland XO Cognac to a Hennessy VSOP which is around the same price point? I've always found the Hennessy to be more bold with upfront dried fruit (raisin, fig, dates) than the Remy which is more refined and subtle but less bold and lacking the character of the Hennessy. I'm going to have to try Courvoisier again, it's been awhile and I don't remember how it compared to Remy or Hennessy I just know that I usually buy Hennessy as my go to cognac.
IMO the Kirkland XO is much better than either VSOP's. I prefer Hennessy over Remi as far as VSOPs, but you will get more flavor and smoothness from the kirkland XO.
добрый день, тот курвуазье империал что у вас на видео уже не выпускают, сейчас курвуазье хо - с фиолетовыми этикетками, скажите вы уже пробовали "фиолетовый курвуазье хо"? , есть ли разница между вашим и современным "фиолетовым курвуазье"?............good afternoon, that courvoisier imperial that you have on video is no longer released, now Courvoisier xo - with purple labels, tell me have you already tried "purple Courvoisier xo"? is there a difference between your and the modern "purple Courvoisier"?
I've had Hennessy XO Twice and found it Bitter or very Oxidized both times....Remy XO is Nice....The Courvosier XO is Nice...the Kirkland XO was a Letdown and came across more like a Minimum Aged VSOP especially being just $55 and Labeled as an XO
@@NoSpillsChills Ok. That was 2 years ago. Im not a connoisseur but i can say that… it is worth buying for the value. If you are going to compare to Hennessy XO…not as smooth forget Paradis. Everyone’s palette is different so u would have to try. So it is better than Hennessy vs but not its XO but XO being over $200….. it is worth it. I did buy it again
