Wow. This brings back some good memories. I binge watched the entire series several years ago on Netflix. Seeing this trailer makes me want to watch it again.

Just received the entire box set...can't wait!

I've been a long time fan of Henning Mankell's Wallander series starring Krister Henriksson. There was an earlier series with a different Swedish actor as Wallander which I have not seen however I've watched several of the later series starring Kenneth Branagh which were filmed in Sweden but with English dialogue. I have always liked Kenneth Branagh and I think he makes an excellent "English" actor but he is not Wallander the way I imagine Wallander to be.

Excelente Serie sueca y además muy, pero muy superior en actuación y contenido a Wallander UK... Esta última (serie inglesa de la BBC) me parece una serie bastante mediocre..!!! Además es lógico: Wallander es la creación de un escritor sueco...!!!

Wallender is not a detective, he is a police officer, there is a big differences between them. Low salary, not ideal working conditions, daily life troubles, divorced police officer with a teenager daughter and coping with the colleagues's difficult working conditions as well. To be a police officer is very difficult in every country even in rich Sweden.
