Great video and counter drill. To switch things up, could you also lead in with a hook instead of a traditional 1, 2 ? I remeber seeing a training video of Volkan doing that with one glove and starting with a hook, rear leg kick then counter hook. Both are highly effective if you get good at them.

A jab at the end can work well too to "close the door" after opening yourself up with the low kick, but gives you more distance away from your opponent, albeit with less power.
