It is. When the scandal first started, everyone hated Lee Taeim (the senior) bcos rumors spread that she was being unreasonable and cussed out Yewon. Lee Taeim apologized to Yewon and netizens, even though she's been saying she did nothing wrong (not her exact words, just the basis). But later on, a video leaked of Yewon and Lee Taeim and it actually showed that Yewon was in fact speaking informally to Lee Taeim. If you didn't know, Koreans are huge on honorifics and respect of elders so when Yewon spoke informally to the older Lee Taeim, Lee Tae Im was really upset. So after everything was revealed, Netizens were mad at Yewon and I think that's what resulted in them ending the Henry and Yewon couple.

Korea is big on honorifics, so the fact that she was speaking informally to Lee Taeim upset Lee Taeim. Sure Lee Taeim probably shouldn't have cussed at her, or spoken more reasonably, but still. Yewon disrespected Lee Taeim, and actually let everyone think Lee Taeim was a rude crazy bitch. Which I think is low of Yewon.

Lalalalyssa_ Yewon asked in a very good way and "formally" if she was cold. LTI answered kinda rude “It’s so cold. Do you want to go in too?”. When she said "Do you want to go in too?" Yewon knew that LTI was angry and kinda rude, so Yewon answered No using a passive way to say NO (it still a bit informal). Then LTI said literally rude "You don’t like it? You like watching someone else do it?", I mean that was an obvious confrontation coming from LTI, and that's when Yewon ansered NO informally (I would've done the same thing if someone is confronting me). Then the rest is history. LTI was the one who was angry and started to confront Yewon. Confronting someone who is younger than you is pretty f****d up.

You have to understand that in Korea, they respect their elders and call a person by their respected names (ex: Sunbaenim, seonsaengnim [teacher], etc etc.) that's why in dramas, whenever someone younger speaks informally to someone older, the older person reacts and gets mad. Lee Tae Im is Yewon's senior, so Yewon has to speak formally to her unless Lee Tae Im says they can speak casually to each other. Yewon spoke informally/impolitely to Lee Tae Im, and of course, to Lee Tae Im it was a culture shock bcos it's disrespectful to speak like that to a senior. Naturally, Lee Tae Im is going to react. And I get what some people are saying, Lee Tae Im overreacted. Sure, to a certain extent. But imagine someone younger than you speaking so rudely to you and everyone thinks you're at fault and you did something wrong. Thats the situation Lee Tae Im was in. Everyone sided with Yewon until the video leaked, and Lee Tae Im had to suffer all that criticism and still has to deal with it bcos people still think Yewon didn't do anything wrong. (International people anyway) What I think is low of Yewon, is that she let everyone think Lee Tae Im just randomly outbursted for no reason, and she didn't tell the truth. She only thought of her own image to save her career. and maybe that was her company's doing, but still, she let Lee Tae Im take the fall and had Lee Tae Im apologize for basically being disrespected by Yewon. Idk, maybe it's bcos I was raised in a similar culture where you have to respect elders, I understand why this was a big scandal and why Yweon had to quit the show. It's really sad to see Yewon and Henry. Their relationship was way different than any other couples since for me they showed such a great love. However ever since the little argument they had about how Yewon was using slang and Henry didn't like so he got a little angry. But what really is pissing me of is the hate on Henry. It's so dumb that they giving hate comments because like everyone makes mistakes and it can cause a few problems but we all know either way that people forgive each other.
