He was referring to the Theseus in the movie. If you listen to Tarsem's explanation, at first he was a demigod, but later he changed it to being a peasant. Henry is the farthest from condescending or ignorant. However, your comment certainly did come off that way. Kettle... pot... black? And regardless of the interpretation of Theseus in the movie, no real reporter worth their salt should be using wikipedia as their source of information. Henry was 100% right to tsk, tsk, tsk him!

@gillri Exactly and to me Cavill's jaw line isnt yet that, but I know once he had bulked up he will most likely have it, just at this point in time in my opinion him as Superman isnt working for me

@gillri I dont know, I think it has something to do with the jaw line to me..... but then again he hasn't begun his weight training yet so his body will be much different by the end, I'm sure the final product will be just fine :)

Anyone that knows Greek mythology would know that Theseus IS a demigod...what Cavill should have said is that in this film, it's a different interpretation from the traditional telling of the story in that he isn't a demigod, but a mere mortal. The interviewer shouldn't have backed down. As for him being Superman, I just hope he can pull off a very convincing American accent, and they do camera tricks to make up for the 3" he's lacking. Superman has to have a presence. Big diff from 6'1" & 6'4"
