Are you kidding me Henry? It is the "perfect storm". Henry's interpretation of superman is far the best in all other superman. I'm very lucky to witness Henry Cavill as superman. Thank you so much for your good looks. Thank the Lord there's someone like him.
I am ( omfg already) 40 years old and remember the old B&W reruns my dad watched, then into the Christopher Reeve ere, then came Superman Returns....was blown away...now we have Man of Steel by far THE BEST....Not only in effects but in story line and great choice of casting. Man of steel has brought a new "realistic" view of an Age Old Hero to today's youth ...and to the old....Bravo.......
You guys need to watch THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO 2002, Henry's first film, and IMMORTALS 2011, if you're not real familiar with this beautiful young man - other than watching him in The Tudors. There is a whole lot more to Mr. Cavill. I think the range he has for a young actor is incredible. I know he will do justice to SM. Bravo, HC - I am soooo happy for you.
Brit actors take everything they do seriously, Look at Ian McKellen an incredibly talented and serious actor had the same intensity he has in all his roles in playing Magneto and Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings and it worked beautifully, the same thing goes for Patrick Stewart. It shouldn't matter what role whether it's a drama, Scifi or fantasy if you take your craft seriously good thing happen on screen.
They shouldn't but unfortunately some do..for some reason. It doesn't matter to me at all as long as they do the part justice and give it their all..that's what matters. I thought Henry was wonderful as Superman...really did the role proud.
Isn't he?? And the silly interviewer could have 'made him feel better' by saying something similar to yours, jokingly or seriously, but instead she sat there smiling awkwardly and agreeing!!! What a useless thing! Henry of course was all class. What a real gentleman. He deserves all the good things in life.
Nothing wrong with having British actors stepping up to do these roles.Had no idea Henry was a Brit. His is perfect for the part.I guess Danny Devito wasn't available.
Little he’d know he would be the best superman that would touch screen since 2013 and fans still want him to play until this day until he plays the kingdom come superman (Older Superman)
He looks the part.. what are u talking about.. he's simply bad ass.. and brandon did the best he could with returns but henry is gona knock it out of the park big time!!
Acc wikipedia, he is from Jersey (the Island, not the state). I just hoped he'd do what Chris Bale did and keep the accent while discussing the movie. Less Jarring. all-in-all, I liked the show. !!
My coworkers laughed when I told them I was going to get ripped with "Max Muscle Booster", but then I showed them the results. Google Max Muscle Booster to see their reaction.
I mentioned them because they're British actors playing superheroes in an american culture (however "obvious" it may be..) the "surprise" element isn't particularly relevant in my opinion.
1:20 "What suit are we gonna get? Are we gonna get a suit?" Should've told her "no." and see her reaction. Seriously though, that was one DUMBASS question.
She even rolled her eyes at him. THE GALL! If I was him I would have been offended (I AM offended on his behalf, because that's just rude and unprofessional) but he fielded it well! All in all, he either gets interviewers who are downright rude or the ones who flirt with him too much but he's an actor to boot, takes all of it in stride and remains a polite gentleman. That's such a TURN ON
You have obiously not read one comic, This is the most look alike actor to the comic version I have seen, Brandon Routh was just not too super look a like
