Henry IV of England, Henry of Bolingbroke, The First King of the Lancaster Dynasty. 

Henry was an English nobleman who was known in his time by the name of Henry of Bolingbroke, being remembered for being a much admired and popular knight who faced his cousin King Richard II of England, whom he managed to dethrone and imprison, thus founding Henry the Lancaster dynasty, which was a lower branch of the Plantagenet dynasty, an event that caused some time later the well-known "War of the Two Roses" to break out where the houses of Lancaster and York would fight each other for control of the English throne.
