exactly...I feel torn 'cause I'm supposed to support Jacinda with Henry but I would rather have Drzela and Henry :D xD something is wrong!

There are the absurd H*nvy shippers and then there are the random stragglers that ship Henry and Tiana. That got me thinking, it's not that (some) they don't like Henry with a WOC, they just don't like Ella. I've seen people comment that Dania should have been someone else besides Cinderella. One "suggestion" I've seen was that Dania should have been Moana. Which is a great idea; let the Latina actor play a Polynesian role! 🙄🙄🙄. They don't like because she's a Latina Cinderella and their tiny minds can't fathom a Cinderella that doesn't look like this.

Henry x Ivy is not a ship that "deserved better". It's a ship that only exists because the fandom is full of racist who thought Henry's canon brown Latina wife didn't fit there narrow minded views of what Cinderella can look like.

I know and I much prefer ivy to gacinda but since he is ment to be in love with gacinda and has a daughter that would have made henry look like bad guy which would not have been good

As the season progressed and people starting shipping H*nvy, the racism got worse. “Henry looks better with Ivy.” “Henry and Ivy make a better looking couple than Henry and Jacinda.” And they didn’t stop at comments. People started making manips, cutting and pasting Adelaide’s face onto Dania’s face in her scenes with Andy. I have seen a few of these manips and they’re all incredibly racists, but I would say that is the most horrific is one where Adelaide’s face was copied and pasted over Dania’s face in Henry and Ella’s proposal scene. That scene, as it was in the show, was beautiful, emotional, and possibly one of the best proposal scenes in the series. Do you understand what a manip really is? It’s a way of saying something would’ve been better if it had been done this way. The afore mentioned manip was its creator’s way of saying that Henry’s proposal would’ve been better if he’d been proposing to a white woman instead of a dark skinned Latina.

I think Step Believer could've worked if the show wanted it too. But they clearly didn't. I think they tried to do a "Look, it's like a Kathryn/David/MM" copout with both them and Nick/Jacinda (even Lucy said it out loud) but ultimately...they never intended for it to be *the* Henry ship. They showed that Henry's true love is Ella. They have a kid and have been married for over a decade. You really think he's going to leave her for her step-sister that tried to kill him? Twice?

Shipping a man with his wife of 10 years who has a healthy relationship with and who is the mother of his daughter is 1,000x better than shipping that same man with the woman who poisoned him and his is would be rapist.First off, in any relationship, it's not up to someone to "make" their significant other into a better person. The s.o. has to make themselves into the person they want to be. Their partner is there to provide support and help them. Also, support doesn't have to come from a romantic partner. It can come friendship.

Second, I understand what some mean by the argument. That Drizella was in a dark place and Henry would've believed in her and that would've made her a better person. But here's the thing. That's exactly the love story we got with Ella and Henry. Ella was in a dark place when she met Henry. Running from an abusive step-family, going down the path of revenge, trying to get herself killed by killing the Prince. Henry believed that Ella could start over and helped her do so. Ella put in the work to make herself into the person she wanted to be. And Henry was there to support her along the way.

H*nvy was built on racism. Bitch-ass "fans" made horrible, disgusting edits, copying and pasting Drizella/Ivy head over Ella/Jacinda's. That's whitewashing. It's erasing a woman of color and it's wrong. It's also built on rape. Had Ivy/Drizella been successful in seducing Henry, even if he had complied, it would have been rape. Because Ivy was not who she said she was. If the person you agree to have sex with is someone other than you think he or she is, your compliance does not count as consenting. A ship built on rape and racism. That's what people call chemistry? Disgusting. All H*nvy shippers, supporters and sympathizers are trash.

I don't think it's possible to ship H*nvy and not be racist. H*nvy was built on racism. By shipping it or supporting it, you're supporting something that's fundamentally racist. Which makes you racist.

The fandom built your ship on racism. You've made terrible, disgusting edits of Drizella's face copied and pasted over Ella's. That's called whitewashing. Every flashback scene that had Drizella and Henry she tried to in some way hurt him. The only reason Drizella showed any interest in Henry in HH was to hurt Ella. She has no real feelings for him. She kissed him without consent. And when he turned her down, she ignored his no and tried to kiss him again. Drizella. Assaulted. Henry. Your ship is founded in racism and romanticizes a woman abusing a man. And you're all trash for supporting it.
