I can buy the dual nature of Kissinger, although I mostly know him by the terrible things attributed to him. I think I have to take it for granted that I don't know the full story, and that's part of the deal with State dept focused appointees and lifers (ESPECIALLY in that era). That being said, I also understanding that he most definitely had it coming. If say, a central american country had put a hit on him after emerging from the hell they went through, I'd get it. Normally that would be the kind of thing that would get my stubborn nationalistic side up, but in a case that egregious I'd be outright sympathetic.
