Good video thanks for shooting some paper. That is much more accurate , than the Henry .22lr I had but compared to my Savage rifles no where close, I use scope and peep sights on them, do have open iron on the semi auto B22 and they will give dime size groups at 35yd. but my eyes are getting old at 75 so mostly shoot scope or peep. I also shoot five round groups, think that tells a little better what a rifle will do. Some times 10 round groups but end up with one hole so you can't even tell how many rounds are in it. Again thanks for the video, Keep thinking of another leaver rifle but want one more accurate than what Henry seems to be putting out. Would love to get the Henry garden rifle, but have never seen one for sale up hear in Canada.
"Not exactly sure what distance". "Nice little groups" whatever that means. "I think it's 12 rounds". Dude, have some FACTS before you record a video. Sorry for the negative response.
Now if you can find 22magnum ammo, it runs .45 cents to .68 cents a round of coarse that is buying on line, our local can't scare this stuff into their store. THANKS BRANDON.
Hey good sportsman, good talk about your rifle. I agree all the way but if I could tell you what work's on mine see through scope rings, the best of both operations, just a thought??
Nice Video. I’ve got the Henry 22mag with the round barrel. I installed Tech-Sights (rear peep on the receiver, front light tube, .5 in installed where the original bead sight was drifted out). If you want something ‘zippy,’ try the CCI/Hornady Varmint 30 grain with polymer tip at 2200 fps. Take a look at my video ‘Henry .22 Magnum at the Farm 29 seconds.’ I was particularly full of myself when I hit the follow-up shot under the table!
I paid $600.00 for mine. $600.00 for a $300.00 gun!! My wood was nicer looking than that shown, but poorly fitted. Very cheap looking spray painted receiver cover and plastic forearm band. Please quit saying made in America or. not made at all because it is completely misleading as to the real quality that can be produced in this country. If you want something really accurate try a CZ 457 with CCI maxi mag 40 grain varmint.
Guys , I've got to say this , I bought the Henry Hoo3TM and the H001TM , both magnums , one pump, the other lever , they are the same rifle , the pump wouldn't chamber a round new out of the box , the lever did , Henry wanted me to send my new rifle back for repair , brand new , I paid 700.00 for the pump , the check card in box said it had been inspected by 4 people , it was a lie , after forcing the pump 29 times it finally chambered a round , whatever was holding it back broke off or moved over enough , when I took the cover off and looked at it , I could see the problem , it's the cheap pot metal cartridge guide , had a machine issue , and noticed the barrel is riveted to 2 pieces of metal like an ak47 , doesn't even have a receiver very cheaply made , just like a Rossi but more expensive . I talked to customer service and told them it was a piece of crap and I wanted my money back , they said they would only pay for the cost of the rifle , which was around 500.00 , so I would loose 200.00 , so I'm left with a pretty piece of unreliable shit that I paid 700.00 for , I won't be buying an more of their products , BUYER BEWARE , expensive piece of crap , Also I've got no idea about the other items they have , but the rimfire series is cheap ak style junk , don't drop it , the barrel will peel away from the metal , it has three rivets holding them on , that it . Although the lever did chamber out of the box , it's made the same way , extremely disappointed in the workmanship and design , these are price point items , if you shoot them very much , they will fail ,
