As part of a five-year, $557 million capital improvement plan, the Convention Center is receiving major upgrades, including a $37 million new roof to protect exhibits worth millions and ensure the comfort of nearly 750,000 visitors each year. Originally slated for traditional TPO roofing, pandemic roofing material shortages led to the use of Henry® Spray Foam Technology. This advanced solution is not only energy efficient but also provides robust protection against harsh weather, a testament to its success on other major New Orleans projects like the Caesars Superdome.
