Henry VII died of tuberculosis at Richmond Palace on 21 April 1509 and was buried in the chapel he commissioned in Westminster Abbey next to his wife, Elizabeth.

I will always support the House of York especially Richard III but I feel sorry for Henry because it’s like if he had no choice on his life and he was following his mother’s ambition so for that I feel sorry. Your video is so beautiful dear it’s a stunning masterpiece, I love this !!🤩🛐

Unlike other kings of England the way Henry even got to be the king always fascinate me, his whole life story is just crazy. Who would think that little boy hidding in foreign, who was not raised in England and his claim to the throne was so weak, would end that terrible war? He is definitely my most favourite ruler of England, together with Edward III.

no, not really; all she worked for was the restoration of his title and property. It wasn't until RIII took the throne and Elizabeth Woodville started the conversation about marrying Henry to EoY that any idea of his being king arose.

Henry VII's aunts and uncles are complicatedly vast. Henry's father, Edmund's, parents were Owen Tudor and Catherine Valois (a French princess and widow of Henry V, thus, mother of Henry VI). It's through Catherine that Henry VII was a half-nephew of Henry VI. As for Owen and Catherine's marriage, it was reported that they had at least six children but the ones primarily known about are Edmund (Henry's father) and Jasper. I think most of the other children died young including a daughter who was a nun. Then, through his mother, Margaret Beaufort, Henry had some half-uncles and aunts. Margaret Beaufort's parents were John Beaufort and Margaret Beauchamp. John Beaufort only had Henry's mother but Margaret Beauchamp was married three times. She had numerous children from her first marriage then she had only Henry's mother in her second, and, lastly, only a son, John Welles, from her third. John actually married Elizabeth of York's sister, Cecily but John and their two daughters died of some illness which resulted in Cecily marrying a man without royal permission and being banned from court. Overall, yes Henry VII had quite a few aunts and uncles but a lot died young or were half related to him. The one that is most important to Tudor history is Jasper Tudor.

If you watch the show, Henry the 7th was I believe speaking to his wife or some other person about I believe his concerns for Henry the 8th. He was talking about the current generation passing and entering Eternity, leaving Henry to rule. So therefore, they would all be "in his shadow". He was expressing concern about Henry being able to do his duty properly. He wasn't implying that Henry would be a great ruler or anything of the sort, just that his parents wouldn't be there to help and guide him because they would all "be in his shadow"....
