On the upstroke at 4:38 when your ring is on the 9th fret 2nd string, and index on the 7th fret 1st string - how do you manage to only hit those strings during that upstroke? Are you using your thumb or index to stroke up? I'm struggling to hit JUST the two strings without accidentally hitting the 3rd string. Also thank you for making this tutorial. The riff that happens throughout the song is one of my all time favorite riffs of all time. The chord progression sounds so dark. It's incredible how creative Stephen was when it came to chord shapes. I love listening to this song with a good pair of headphones.
I have a Boss Katana 100. At the moment I have chorus and reverb. And to get that medieval grunge sound, I made a preset that has lots of gain, overdrive, and chorus.
