It hurts like heck that if I ever get married our parents won't be there, they were good people. If I ever get married I want to do or say something special to honor them too.

You lost your father and I'm sure that's a pain like no other, but what does it say about the man he was that he had this many people willing to fill his shoes even just for a minute or 2. So although it may not feel like it your father is always there, just look around at all the people he left in your life to hold you up when you feel like falling down! I'm getting married in 18 days and I'm dancing with my stepdad, my grandfather, and my two brothers for my father-daughter dance because my father passed away when I was 9. I'm still working out how the guys will know when to switch. Does anyone have suggestions? We have a family friend performing live for the song, and he's doing a mash up of two songs, so I'm not exactly sure how to split it/give cues for when to switch partners.
