Amy will be remembered, like Elvis, decades on. She was a remarkably gifted songwriter, who composed superb melodies and wrote remarkable lyrics. Tony Bennett puts her among the great jazz singers of the past. She was a jazz singer who could sing blues, soul and created a jazz / hip hop cross in her first album which was quite extraordinary. Saleem Remi and Mark Robson did a fabulous job on this great album. She once said to her mum " I dont want to be ordinary". She certainly was never that.
